why are skiing hoodies so expensive? armada hoodies at the place i go are like 70 bucks

maybe i'm just cheap but that seems pretty expensive

It's a matter of scale. A company like quiksilver manufactures/sells a gazillion hoodies, so their cost is cheaper, which makes your cost cheaper.

Armada sells no where near as many, so it costs them more to get them made and...you get the idea.

numbers produced. the more you make, the cheaper they are, the less they cost the consumer. if it is cut-and-sew stuff, it is going to be higher quality and smaller runs. that makes it more expensive.
