Where to buy edge replacement

So i always am cracking and blowing out edges, i was wondering if there was a place online or from anyone where i can buy thick metal edges? I found some that are 1.5mm x 1.5mm on The Ski Lab but am looking for something closer to 2.5mm x 2.5mm. Does anyone know where i could get that? Thanks

contact ON3P, they can probably help you out for a small fee (I think I remember them selling small edge sections to someone at some point). I'm pretty sure 2.5 x 2.5 manufacturers require a minimum order, that might have changed though. Other than that maybe check out ski builders for people selling extra materials.

go to a shop with a workshop... theyll sort you out

This- just go to a shop and they will fix for ski for you. If you try to fit a larger edge into your ski (one that is bigger than the original design) then your edge will undoubtedly pull out again.

You are better off spending your time on researching what shop in your area (or where you go skiing) offers the best repair service, contacting them, and getting it sorted that way.

I'm not sure what your cunning plan is here, was it to rip out your old edges and mash on some new ones or something? They're not like car tyres, you can't just swap them out...

Quoting for emphasis. Thicker edges need thicker bases. Cant just replace them.

yeah thats why i was looking for 2.5mm x 2.5mm because THATS WHAT THE ON3PS HAVE. Not sure why its so hard to understand that. and the way ski shops repair edges is terrible, there are no good ski shops even remotely close to where i live

Well then you probably should have said that in the first place.

Knowing that, ON3P perform edge repair on their skis if you send them back to them. Get in touch with Iggyskier or one of the other ON3P guys on here and I'm sure they will get you squared away.

So what ideas do you have up your sleeve to fix edges that no ski tech has ever thought of?
