Where to buy bamboo

I'm trying to make a short board for myself and I thought I would use bamboo. I'm having trouble finding somewhere where I can by like a sheet of bamboo to cut and use in making this short board. Anything online where I can buy it or near Renton/Seattle/Issaquah Washington.

my aunt used to grow a small bamboo...thing. i think she said it wouldn't grow well in my state but

i think if you asked some asians they could help you, or find someone who could

i'm going to fore warn you, bamboo ply sheets are extremely expensive. a sheet of 3/4" 4x8 can run in the region of 200 bucks.

if you want the deck to be more flexy, just get a more flexible wood, and make it 5-ply or whatever a thin deck is called

Plywood is a few layers of cheap stock with a thin layer of desirable veneer on both sides, that's not the same as bamboo stock.

Do you mean a skateboard? Bamboo veneer is usually hard to find and expensive and I have no idea where to get it.
