Where should I ski?

I'm new to Toronto and I want to know where i should buy a pass this winter. Where do you go and how do you get there? What is the closet? Which has the best park? Which has the best skiing?

The two obvious top choices are Blue Mountain in Collingwood (apprx. 2 hours from Toronto) and Mount St. Louis Moonstone, just North of Barrie (apprx. 1 hour and change) Blue always has a consistent park, hosting the big competitions in Ontario, and has a lot of selection of runs. MSLM keeps uping its game every year and has a very solid park, both with a lot of NSers.

If you are looking for something a little closer to Toronto, there`s always Dagmar and Lakeridge (North of Whitby/Ajax) just east of Toronto, which are both about 30-45min from Toronto. Both have chill atmosphere and have small to medium features in the park, but don't go for just skiing runs, waste of time.

As for the other places in Toronto, I'm not to sure about them, they probably aren't worth your time if you are wanting to ride park.

Hope that helps.

MSLM or Blue. I loveee MSLM's park but blue is my home mountain. We've got a pretty good park and offer some pretty decent glade skiing if your into that too.

MSLM is really awesome, sweet vibe all around, awesome features and big but just ok jumps. Blue and MSLM both have lifts that service only their park but blue does have better skiing all around, IMO not a better park though

go to MSLM. for blue you have to buy a park pass which is no big deal for $10. but MSLM has no park pass, i find louis park has a better vibe and bigger jumps. rails are great at louis and if your a begginer to intermeditate they also have the junkyard park which is for the beginers which is always fun to lap! IMO louis for the win. it is a great direct drive on the 400. but with blue it is all farm roads and if you go when its snowy, there is a risk that highway 88 will be closed and you will be forced to take airport road home.

you could also take a look at holiday valley in NY. it is only about 15 more then going to blue (no joke) and blows MSLM and blue out the door. there park isn't as good but if your looking for groomers and glade skiing. you have met your place to go. note that holiday valley has something like 6 parks though. beginer, intermeditate and a rail park a jump park and a advanced park which isn't really advanced but good enough.

check all of these places out dude and hope to see you on the hill!

either louise or blue. it really depends on what you ski more... it all depends on what you want to ski more. They both have solid jump lines and a ton of jibs. IMO blue has more fun jibs and whatnot and they set them up better than MSLM. plus they have park pass so its less crowded.
