I would give canada/america a miss. I hit the alps in febuary, fuckin madness. The skiing was amazing. But ye, check out chamonix, curchavel, val d'isere.
I can't argue that there are less chicks partyin here in Utah, but if you have friends you can still party and have lots of fun. I'd say "miserable" is a bit too harsh.
