it has to do with your height, weight, bootsole length, age, and skiing ability level. since you weigh nothing, i'd guess that 8 is gonna be a little high. just bring them to your shop

and up in yo bitch, is where ya might find me

actually yeah. i couldnt afford to buy skis until i really stopped growing and i finally got seths. i had them mounted for powder and crusing groomers and stuff. i didnt know how hooked i would get on the park though. so i had my markers taken off and i sold them and i got looks. and i ask you guys all of my questions because i live in so cal and there are no real ski shops for hundreds of miles. theres just sport chalet and they can mount bindings, but they really dont know what theyre talking about so i tell them what to do. good story eh?

I'm 6'2 190, and ride all my skis at 10, including p12's, and my skis almost never come off. I'm considering dropping the din on my park skis in an effort to decrease shin bang.

ah man growing that makes sense lol. damn i stopped growing (significantly) in like 9th grade(freshie in college now) haha standing at a whopping 5'6'-7' 135 lol. i have p10s set at 6 right now and thats doin pretty well for me no prereleases on rails and landing switch has been fine and they still release when i eat it so id say a 7 should be good for u but maybe go with the 8 cause your pretty tall. but hey just bring a screwdriver or something w/ ya and start w/ a lower din and crank it up if your havin problems. thats better then setting em too high and tweakin something if u fall wrong. also good move on the center stance i got my scratches center mounted and i love it no regrets esp if you more of a park guy.

im 5'9 145lbs, mine are at 6, they never release when i dont want them to, and still release when i eat shit hard, so id say 6 or 7 for you

id say if you wiegh 145 go no higher than 7 cuz i weigh 135 and im aT 6 on my twins but your gonna get alot more tourque on your skis so go seven. i never come out of mine

'do you have any idea

how strong a monkey is?'

if u fill out like u said ur gonna be like my exact dimensions, i ride with a din of 10, seems to do the trick but for u right now i'd say like a 7, i also ride a lot of all mtn tho.

If you have to ask, take them to a shop. Not a rip on you, but the techs have a universal chart to go by. They *shouldn't* mess up, but you never know what you're gonna get.

I'd reccomend the shop mount and set din. Then, go skiing. If they come off too easily, turn the din up by a half or full point. Repeat process until you've found your happy place.

Confusious say: man going through airport turnstyle sideways is going to Bangkok

^^ i dissagree with the shop mounting comment, 99% of shops out there are behind the newschool movement, and don't get that their 'charts' aren't the word of god. if you're a really aggressive skier, which (no diss) at 145, fresh, you probably aren't, go for 8-9, otherwise I'd go for 6.5-7, you aren't going to prerelease and you'll probably save your knee ligaments more than once.

peace

oh, and the word 'max' was supposed to be after 7

lowereing your din wond do anything to fix your shinbang. i would say 8 is a good start. i am 5 8 and 175, and have my rossis at 10, because i do not like to prerelease, and i kept blowing up brakes in the early season. i come out when i need to, and im happy

'They sell 'Professional' jump ropes at the sporting goods store. I did not know that jump roping was a career option. I should have paid closer attention during those job planning courses in high school. Anyway, I went there intending to purchase a rifle, but i forgot my wallet and the cashier wouldn't accept my middle finger as collateral. - random internet person quoted by apple

mine were at 4, is anyone ever gunna answer my question

you cant know wat to set a din at without a boot sole, but he would orbably bee around 310 so i would say a solid 6.5-7.5

depends on your skiing style...if you race (hopefully not) set the dins really high, If your into rails...medium...for jumnps...low. Believe me it's worth it to have your ski pop out occasionally of a jump instead of breaking your leg.

If it aint Gorilla it aint Steeze

If you like your knees, get it done at a shop. They should know their shit.

eh 7 because beause your so light

So I told him if you say that again im gonna stick this bowl of gucamole up your ass.

Long story short, that is the worst bowl of gucamole iv'e ever tasted

id stop throwing up after meals and try to break 150, then id set em somewhere between 1.5 and 1.8

i weigh the same amount and ive got mine set at 10. i still fall hard enough for them to come out when they need to and if i dont fall hard i dont want them to come off, its embarassing hiking up to pick up your shit.

and more, much more than this, I did it my way

'So you're a skier?'

'No, I prefer to refer to myself as a double boarder'

I ride 8.5-9 and I'm 5'11, 170lbs.

Some of you guys are ridiculously skinny.

I'm a skinny guy myself, and I have 30 pounds on seanpistol, but 3 inches shorter.

^^^^^^^^^^^i'm pretty sure a lower din will help with shin bang, because instead of torquing your lower leg the ski pops off.

yeah man, you're pretty light for sure... I'd say 8. Mines at like 8 about and I weight the same (a bit smaller though) so maybe jsut above 8 is good. p12s are good bindings too, so no worries about needing to crank em up... cause they wont prematurely release on you like honry little boy
