Im a beginner. i got k2 fujatives at 169cm. where should i mount?

im 5'8 130lbs. i ski the whole mtn, but prob 50% park thotoo.

i would prbly say like 2-4 cm back from center, depending on how much you want to focus on park skiing rather than all mountain skiing, but definitely nothing closer than 2cm back. Youre a beginner, in my opinion if you progress really well on all-mtn binding mounts then when youre ready for a centermounted pair of skis itll be alot easier. (thats just how i did it, i went from atomic tweaks mounted 4cm back to volkl walls center mounted and rails just came so much easier.)

As an owner of both centred mounted skis and non, I am firmly of the belief that you should only mount centre if you know that's what you want. And if you know, then you wouldn't be asking. I think that it depends completely on your skis and what type of skiing you want therefore only the individual will know. Obviously NS is all about asking for advice, mine is to mount them back, probably 2cms.

I would never center mount a ski that wasn't a true twin. It's simply not how the ski was meant to be mounted and in turn, can really mess up the way the ski rides.. ski's are shaped with mounting points in mind, and if you go and mount them outside of that mounting area.. what was all that shaping for?

just my 2 cents.. obviously, if your broke and stuck with an older pair of skis', you gotta do what you gotta do..
but if you are going to be buying new ski's and are asking this question, you should probably get true twin tipped ski's such as the Line Anthem.

Mounting forward of recommended will often throw off the sidecut.

I mounted my last set of skis +2cm forward of CENTRE. It almost compensated for the sidecut, and they carved forward and switch amazingly.
