Where should I mount my skis?

Last spring I made some skis. They are 100% working and performing skis. They are fairly similar to last years Line SFB but they have more early taper and more rocker and less shape and 186cm long. I am going to mount some Marker Baron bindings to them, but im not sure where to mount them. I have done almost zero backcountry freestyle skiing, but definitely want to. This is my first powder ski so im not sure where to mount them or how close to center i want to mount them. Suggestions? Advice? thanks

I'd say your best bet would be to measure out the thinnest part of the sidecut (so where your ski is the thinnest from side to side) and use that as your mounting point. It's kinda hard since they're your design...you'd really need to do some experimentation to find the exact best spot, but the narrowest spot of the sidecut would probably be the best place to start.

There's a mid-sole line on the bottom of your boot somewhere (Fullt Tilts have a little arrow on the side on the boots, some other boots just have a line across the bottom of the boot), you want to use that line as your marking point for you boots.

my suggestion would be to get a pair of marker schizo's that way you can expirament with different positions. i think they move a total of 4 inches or so. that way it would just be yrial and error

In my personal experience I would set them back on pow skis even if the thinnest is right in the middle
