where should i mount my pistols for park?

i think core center on them is +7.5. should i mount them there? or at like +6? or what?

+10cm, leaving you 2cm back from true center. They spin balanced, and ski switch pow nicely, and be fine forwards in pow cause of how wide they are.

measure your skis, mark them right in the middle and have them mounted 4 cm forward.

GET UP FROM YOU COMPUTORS AND CATCH SOME AIR, GRIND A FEW RAILS, RIDE A PIPE OR JUST DO A FEW RUNS WITH YOUR FRIENDS.
 
Look at the little grid on the sidewall, get them mounted at core center so you have equal tip and tail.

where the hell do you think, mount them exact center, which means measure the ski, devide it in half. most skis, k2s are the worst about this, do not have a true center mount on them, this is because you want more ski in front of you when going down a hill. obviously, this doesnt take switch into account. it also puts you aff balence on rails.

 
You guys are all stupid. You do not need to measure shit. Nor do you have to measure and then put 4 cm forward. That would be more than center mounted, and would be retarded.

The line on your skis, it's on all skis, is where the Big mountain traditional mount would be. Normaly, now on a twin tip, there is a center mount line also, and its depending on the ski, 5-10 cm forward. And that is the direct true center of the ski.

I prefer about plus 5 on my fujatives.

You guys are dumb, theres a grid on the sidewall of K2 skis. It goes from 0 to 7.5 cm. The zero is the farthest back that K2 recommends, the 7.5 cm mark is CORE CENTER. Thats the middle of the ski, mount them there for equal tip and tail. Trust me, I have center mounted K2 skis. Also, Pistols are a very versatile ski, they work good in the park as well as in the powder.

the mark on the sidewall goes to +3. and i got pistols for the park because theyre so damn versatile, and landing switch on a fat ski is so stable. the rory silva skis park on pistols.

they mean forward of the mid sole point for your boot. you mount them a bit more forward to balance it out for park but just mount them the way the factory intended

i was thinking mounting them at like +6. what do you guys think? you guys seriously have to help me out because in la there are NO ski shops. just dumbass sport chalet and they dont know shit so i have to tell them what to do.

Im telling you, +10 you wont regret it. They'll be agile for how fat they are, and still float better in pow than any back mounted park ski.

Because everyone hear has there heads in there ass and don't realize that core center(+7.5) is true exact center, just measure your skis and mark the exact center on them and get them mounted like that. And watch as the mark you just measured will be +7.5, not 10, not 12.
