I have had a few pairs of these with different mounts. It's all personal pref but I found that a dead center mount was decent for rails and urban but wasn't great for booters. The mount I found that was best all around was -2.5 from dead center. Not the midsole mark center or what some are calling true center but measured center. It was perfect for me. That doesn't mean it'll be perfect for you though. I'd say that if you are a big air type who is jibbin the whole mountain and charging hard than that -2.5 will be perfect. If your the type who's hikin the same rail over and over or do alot of urban I'd say -1.5. There's alot of peeps who rock dead center on those no prob but that mount always made me feel too far "over the bars" on forward landings. But again it's all pref and that's jus what worked for me. Hope that helps.
