Where should i mount my bacons?

I just snagged a pair of line bacons off geartrade but im not sure where i should mount them. i got my park skis already and these are gonna be mostly for pow. With the flex should i go center or back some?
 
Well, first of all congrats on first post.

Second of all, if you want to use them for pow then back is traditionally better. I wouldn't go too far back though, they're pretty beefy, I would mount them 3 cm back from center probably.
 
recommended is 2.5cm back from true centre. i would go there, because that is where the elliptical sidecut will ski best. Maybe one back from that if it is pure pow...
 
ive heard this before but i dont think its true, or else the lines on mine are off, because mine are -2 from true center and they are still +2-2.5 from recommended. I love mine where they are for all mtn. i do ride switch a lot though so i would say if you are going to use it more for pow/traditional riding mount them a little further back, -3 to -4 would do the trick probably
 
i think that over the 3? years the recommended point has changed.. last year i am fairly sure it was -3 or --3.5, but according to line's website this year recommended is -2.5 from true. For a pure pow ski with little / no switch i would go -3 to -4 as well
