man i'm tired of all the skiers vs. boarders crap. most boarders think skiers are middle aged geeky dudes that half snow plow down the mt. and just get in everybodys way. and most skiers think snowboarders are just assholes that don't belong on the mt. skiing is pure man it's about the mountain and you and don't let it get ruined just because there's a couple dicks out on the mt. and don't stereotype. anybody with me on this?

Don't even worry about it. Skiing, just like any other sport has people that take pride in it. They obsess over it, and this creates a form of competition. The whole 'my team/sport is better than your team' mentality. You can see it everywhere, not just skiing or snowboarding.

And it's funny, you'll find that anyone who is any good at their sport will have mutual respect for athletes in other sports. Because being a professional at anything takes many different disciplines and any professional knows and understands those basic disciplines.

Just do what you love doing and don't worry about everyone else.

Eat. Sleep. Breathe. Ski.
