Where is the greatest place youhave ever skiied?

Where is the greatest place to ski in the world, I personally am only a beginner skiier but pasionate about skiing, Ive skiied at Mt Ruaphehu, in NZ's North Island which is an active volcanoe. Cant wait for the season to start again so i can hit the slopes of the ledgendary cardrona in Wanaka aye, what about you guys though, im sure this is something you's have all talked about before, but where is your favorite place to hit the slopes.

 
the best place i've skied is probably vail, just cause i've only been to whistler in summer...and only skied in CO other wise

 
WELL! I'd have to say Taos Ski Valley New mexico, the hits aint too big and the landings are amazing, and the other skiers (no snobords alaod) so thwres lottsa jibbers are cool shit, the snow aint always too great but its go the toughest terrain than most places, and the park is sick! and i own a house there, wanna go some time get in touch w/ me, its on the hill

Silver Star, Canada about three years ago... Currently, Crystal MT, WA, after a large dump the night before and hitting the northback after the powderates got done with it...

Whoever said Jackson Hole is my friend. It is mos def the best place to ski. I love it. Endless pow, a shitload of cliff anywhere you go, the best extreme skiing in north america, lift serve that is. The pipe is sweet 16 feet, butf the Park is mediocre. If your ever in town give me a holla.

Ive only skied 2 fields outside of NZ...them being Heavenly and Squaw. Squaw was by far the better of the two.

In NZ...Definatly Treble Cone.

Mt Ruapehu is just a gay fest compared to TC/America...I havn't even bought my season pass this year.

Plus im going to mammoth at the end of the year for the whole season (mmm...4 months of skiing)...so im stoked about that.

What gravity?
 
jeff and i skiied this line above a parking lot in manning park on the way home from idaho. the snow was soo deep and light, that jeff dissapeared. you literally couldn't see where you were going. that was the best ten turns of my life. but as for the best place to ski Whistler Blackcomb.

st anton austria.... sick mountain... 7 diff sites for heli skiing, like 8 mountains, ski-in bars, pow up to the waist most places on the mountain... only shitty thing, no one understands the concept of a line to the lift in austria...

 
you guys are leaving out the best place in the wourld...

As far as jibbing goes, you cant beat a rail that you built in yur backyard. backyard parks are so sweet- no one yells at you, dont have to wait for some little kid to fall infront of it, and you het to make it perfect. and when you go in, the food is free. im going up to SMS this summer, so that is gonna be the sweetest skiing ive ever done

 
A-L-T-A : no contest.

I've only skied East Coast, CO, and Utah but it's damn hard to beat a foot of powder dumping all morning followed by a bluebird sunny afternoon and fresh tracks at Alta or Snowbird.

france. skiied there last spring break and had powder every day. best resort i skiied there was st. foy tarentaise, tiny ass resort, huge vertical, and of course, no crowds, the only people that are there don't ski anything except on piste. i had 3 feet of fresh (light) powder to myself, freshies all day.

 
all you lazy fuckers get your ass out to the back country, out at rogers pass, super sick pow all the time, mind you i've had some sick ass days at whistler as well

 
powder99, thats the best place ive been. other than that ive only been to the coast mountains and manning. sorry i dont have a heli and access to the andes or some shit like that

 
KICKING HORSE!!!! i did 76000+ vertical feet in 2 days....you dont get that much heli skiing!!!! and the terrain is amazing, and there was almost no line the whole time!!! SWEET ASS SKIING (no park though)
