ok, so i posted a day or two ago in the NZ forum, but alas, zero responses. so i thought maybe the rest of the new school world has some advice...

i'm thinking about moving to NZ this summer (which is really winter) if all other plans fall through. i need to know where the best place to ski is. the best park is. and of course, where best village (e.i. night life, party, location, etc.) is. please help put direction in my journey. post whatever you've heard or what you've skied. thanks for your help. hopefully.

keep it pumping straight to my heart

OK if all your looking for is park riding then snowpark is probably one of the best, most progessive parks in the world and this season the entire Armada team, the D structure crew and heaps of others will b there for the season. For real skiing there is cardrona straight across the valley from snowpark and treble cone (which is probably the best free riding field in New Zealand other than the club fields) is about a 40 minute drive away. These three ski fields are all based around the town Wanaka which is a really cool little town and Queenstown (the nightlife mecca) is close by.

Hope that answers your questions
