Where is kaya tursky????

Welcome to the site!

From everything I am aware of, she will be skiing this winter as usual for Salomon.

Definitely an awesome skier for sure.

I think I read somewhere she is gonna be taking easy for the first part of the season to fully recover, but is back on skis.

Yeah she hurt her knee when she was in NZ, but will be back mid-winter killing it as always. At least that's what I heard last

Best bet is get it straight from the source- her. I'm sure if she sees this thread she'll shed some light on her plans for the winter.

hooo thanks everybody cool am happy, she is a great rollerblader but i think she doesn´t rolling now but am smile for she can skiing thanks

yea i heard the same thing....hope shes feeling better!!! i heart kaya!!!!! hope she gets to do progression again this year!

shes good, but i think ashley battersby is right there too. Womens ss in winter x would be dope.

Kaya cut open her tummy (haha) really badly at icer air and didnt ski much last year. I dont really know what happened to her but she has a huge scar, it was in some mag.

she tore her pancreas and had to have surgery...at least thats what i thought happened....please correct me if im wrong....

wow she takes some nasty falls in the video you posted.

Couple of em where she rides down the concrete on her ass look super painful.

She tore her ACL while in NZ this summer. Shitty luck for Kaya. She may miss the whole season yet again.

Thats what I meant. She has the best style out of any women skier. So many ladies have weak style, Kaya on the other hand is super steezy, I remember the first time I saw footage of her I just thought it was some guy, then I was like "holy shit! thats a chick".

I remember seeing her at the VT open two years ago, and it was like her second or first year skiing and she fucking SLAYED! It was ridiculous.

She sure is! Unless you're one of those fools who considers that there is more to being the best than just performing switch spins and hitting rails.
You know, if you're like, one of those idiots who considers things like, halfpipe, powder, and plain old overall skiing skills to be an important part of skiing.
Not to take anything away from Kaya, she is absolutely awesome at what she does, and no doubt will continue improving rapidly because she has incredible talent and apparently zero fear... However, she still has a ways to go before becoming a truly well rounded skier like Sarah, Michelle, Grete, etc. Claiming that she is "BY FAR" better than skiers like them, is just not true.

Okay your sarcasm is understood. But you have to understand that in my initial post, I meant to specify that she was my favorite skier style wise as far as ladies are concerned. Look at my above post where I clarify what I meant.
