i've always wanted to hear opinions on this so im going to ask this... where do you people think skiing well let's say 10 years?

Enom Headwear.. If your gonna ride twins, cover your head

its too hard to say. If you went back ten or 15 years and asked the most "progressive" skiier where skiing would be, nobody would have said people wold be doing urban handrails, or throwing huge spins in the backcountry. I dont think anyone can make a real prediction of where itll be, but it will be insane, no matter what.

-Your lost on MLK??? RUNNNNN RUUUUNNN the MEDIA is there RUUUUUNNNN.

- ah Ballet, men wearing pants so tight you can tell what religion they are.

"i saw samuel l. jackson sessioning some urban rails with emilio estevez a few years ago"

does any1 no the name of the song that goes WHOOHO! dunananna WHOOHO!skierdude11

please... that is not a question... it is a quote. i know the song. and no, most of you have it wrong anyway.

well in 10 years i was thinking what kind of tricks everybody is going to be doing, like mike wilson will be doing 3 flips switch 1440s with amazing grabs different variations every single jump cork 810 to rails in competitions... i just wonder

Enom Headwear.. If your gonna ride twins, cover your head

^ the switch 1440's and cork 810 to rails wasn't going towards mike wilson either

Enom Headwear.. If your gonna ride twins, cover your head

I don't think its gonna keep growing at the same speed it has lately. Just look at snowboarding, it has been growing a lot, but lately its ot growing that fast, now everything is about the style, and some things r evolving, but much slower than skiing, I think it will just keep progressing, but not as fast.

I do wheelchair freestyle you should see me

we will progress....but every trick that is not extrememly hard will have been done and will be old....

we will probably have massive gaps that almost noone can hit...and we will be occupied by that....and really long rails....like 100 yds maybe

we might also bring back some of the oldschool stuff

ya really who knows but i would really like to see tricks done right now but with way more technical grabs and smoother and more zeros spins over chads and pyramid like cake

Enom Headwear.. If your gonna ride twins, cover your head

if there is snow in ten years the tricks wont be that crazy just really big smooth 5 or snowblading will take over and skiiers will just be made fun of

i think everyone will be sporting obermeyer!

just kidding dude. seriously though, i agree with rocktwintips. it's too hard to tell. like how much more can you really do?

zeros over 200 ft tables

Skiing is starting to progrees so much that it is almost time to go back to the old school. I'm gonna wear some tight pants, sweater, and a cowboy hat next season and do helicopters over huge gaps

^ that wouild be kick ass, if the posers did not come with it

im calling now rails in the backcountry, like off clifs

buy core

I'm sure all of Atlantaski's best tricks are done on the chairlift

-skifiend

the way people treat the earth im glad to be skiing in 10 years... unless we start going into an ice age... wich will also suck.

smoother tricks, grabs held longer, more flips, like double corks and the like, and bigger gaps, switch runs in the pipe mandatory, and in the backcountry switch everything, maybe even a line in valdez switch...

hmmm..well lets see..5 years ago rails weren't really in the comp seen that much, now in order to do good you pretty much have to spin onto them, so in about 10 years you'll probablly have to do cork 810s and shit onto them, so if that sorta thing becomes somethign that needs to be done in order to win everyone will do them, and then to progress that's when it'll just get insane.
