Where is it going to Dump this week?

noaa.gov is great, if you know where you are looking for. onthesnow.com is okay, but the weather forecasts don't seem too accurate. It does give you a good sense of where to dig deeper.

We got 13" inches yesterday here in northern nm. Looks like a pretty big dump is on track for the San Juans Friday and maybe some more for taos.

Been getting lots of lake effect over the weekend. Anywhere in the wasatch was epic all weekend. Freshies for days. And it's cold as balls.

Not in washington. we never get snow ever. idk why the misconception exists but we are just wet and hot over here. dont visit.

damn im not gonna pay for my weather forecast though.

im still looking for a good long term sight though, im gonna check out the noaa site

weather and long term don't go together. I have spoken with a meteorologist who specializes in custom weather forecast for farmers, and the oil industry. He has extensive knowledge about snowfall. He said that he can't give any accurate predictions more then 5 days. Anything past that he said is a crap shoot. So I don't hold to much faith in long term forecasts. Hell...they can't even get the weather right for tomorrow, what makes you think they will get it right months from now?

still to early, no base anywhere so as great as some fresh snow would be people are gonna get messed up in the woods if they don't know what theyre doing

This. I mean they're promising but nothing to fall back on. Winter in Utah is pretty phenomenal this year so far so I'm not complaining.
