How does he get away with being such a hipster grimeball living in a van down by the river with dirty old thrift store clothes, yet rep The North Face? He hardly rocks anything TNF ever and it doesn't even seem like his pants are ever north face. So Rob Heule, what is the point? Maybe he likes to wear the bus stop Denali fleeces when no one is looking.
 
I do agree that Northface should give his sponsorship to a better skier who is actually trying to do something with their career. I'm sorry but Rob Heule is probably one of my least favorite riders in the game due to his whack style, stupid helmets, stupid outfits, and overall d bag attitude. Watching Max Hill ski against him in SLVSH pointed out who is chill and who isn't.

I met rob at coc this year and he definitely doesn't have a "d bag" attitude if you actually met him youd realize hes a super nice guy

1. He is Canadian not q hipster.

2. Rob isn't a grime ball. He is constantly cleaning shit when we are on trips. 100% opposite of me.

3. TNF isn't really know for HUGE logos on outerwear, and why do you care so much?

Cool things about Rob.

- He runs a a company called Rad Packs. Again this is more of a Canadian thing then a hipster thing.

Dude, first things first, when it comes to actual big name pros in the game as far as sponsorships come, companies ARNT looking at skill level or actual amount kids see you in there product but just how well known your name is then if you hear "oh so and so just got on *insert company* and he's shredding
 
First of all, The answer to the question "where does he get off" well thats simple, the top of the lift. As well as far as who's talking is about his "d bag attitude" have you ever met the dude? I mean ya we all have opinions on style and tricks with different skiers but he's the chillest nicest homie ever I don't know how you could judge someones personality from a video? good on ya OP making asking great again by talking more shit!
 
We need more people like Rob Heule in skiing. With shit getting so competitive, someone with a unique style of skiing and a laid back lifestyle is pretty rare. As for his gear, just because he's sponsored doesn't necessarily mean he has to wear TNF all the time. IMO.

Fuck you man, Rob is the nicest guy in the game. He's a rad dude in it to live the life he loves most which is travelling and skiing. You really think North Face is worried about the state of their company with someone like Rob riding for them? The free skiing industry is such a small vessel in business terms for them, so obviously the relationship between tnf & Rob is present because of who Rob is as a person.
 
Don't get me wrong, fellas- I think Rob is a very talented skier and personality. But, he would be much more suited for an outerwear company like Salomon or Marker, maybe even Spyder or Bogner.

I feel privileged to know rob as a personal friend.. Everything you said is complete garbage. If you met him (which you clearly haven't) you would know that he is actually one of the most well spoken, easy going person in the entire industry. Have you seen his parts in the Voleurz movies? (RIP) Rob is an urban rail god and can throw down on big jumps like you've never seen before.. Not to mention he was competing in dew tour for half pipe and crushing it. This is my first post in a long time and a lot of you young up and commers probably wonder who I am but I feel strongly on this matter..
