To echo what some have said, mount at the Candide line or slightly up from it and call it a day. If you expect you won’t be absolutely ripping chamonix every day, and will instead be hiking rails in the east, mount right between the Candide line and the center line, but I truthfully would not creep too much closer to center.
I’m on a pair of last year’s 2.0’s. They’re probably +1 from Candide line and ride perfectly. I like riding rails, but like you, want to ski like Candide (which I of course do a pretty bad job of, but I like knowing the planks are mounted near where he would supposedly ski them).
