WHERE DO you like to buy you SKI gear? POST UP!

All local shops around me are a joke so that = buying online. Usually Backcountry.com due to there awsome return/warranty policy.

Well maybe if you supported them more than they wouldnt be a "joke" any longer.

Support your local shop.

either the interewebz, or my local shop that gives me 10 % off everything because im a season pass holder a t a local hill -pretty dope deal i have to say

allright i think this is a good spot to post this,

i live in Australia but currently my sister is in usa and im going to get her to buy skis for me while she is over there cos its so much cheaper than buying gear in aus. so can any1 tell me some good ski shops in LA? (im looking to buy t halls)

+k for help

My local Swiss mountain even though it costs me a fortune.

That shop has been there for like 90 years (used to be clothing) far better then internet.

And I can try out stuff before I buy: something the internet lacks.

What am I gonna buy there besides maybe some wax? They cater to rich suburban families that race or go out west once a year. They carry no freestyle skies, boots or bindings for most part. If they do carry it you can bet its $50-100 more than online. One local shop does carry FT so I bought a sweatshirt LOL.

my local shop - freezeproshopi doubt i could get what i want online for less after the uni snowsports club discount and the guys in there are sound and do alot for the local scene so would hate for them to go under.

Picked up some Halos off Porters Tahoe, got the last ones I could find in my size super cheap, very stoked.

BST forum and the local ski swap, or my friends' rooms when they're willing to give shit away to a broke ass white boy like myself.

i buy most of my stuff used off tgr

if i need new boots or any race gear i get it from my local shop since they always give me good deals

This.

REI can also have some good stuff.

I usually check lots of online sales first though. Supporting a local shop is awesome, but supporting my pocketbook has to come first.
