Itunes?

Limewire?

Torrents?

where do you download your music?

I started off downloading everything off limewire but I find it a lot easier to download off of sites that let you download albums at once like datpiff.com

I usually get all my CD's off of Amazon.com. You can almost always get new ones for under $10, and used ones under $5.

ruckus.com
my collegepays for it so i get songs for free....cant put em on my ipod but its a good way to figured out if i like it before buying

To those of you that use Ruckus......

If you get a program called Tunebite, you can open tunebite, then open the song you downloaded with Ruckus. Once you do that, you re-record it with Tunebite. Essentially what this does is Tunebite plays the song, and records it with a different name wherever you have the folder specified for. After that, you have the new copy of the Ruckus song, except with no DRM protection.

This means you can put it on iTunes, and listen to it forever, and transfer it around, so on and so forth.

in order of how much music i get from each source, starting with the most used

limewire

other people's cd collections

itunes

and ill maybe but like one or two new cds a year, at an actual record shop

Torrents & Bearshare Pro (not the new, legal one. i use the old one, like 1000x faster than Limewire. I can d/l single songs in 10secs)

And some blogs

mostly limewire, and sometimes torrents, once in a while from itunes

i used to use albumbase.com to download albums really quick, but now the websties down forever, it used to be the best site ever

i was using albumbase and demonoid, but since that got shut down ive found a new way to find music.

I usually just type in the artist and/or album plus the words rapidshare or megaupload or whatever upload download site u know of into google. I can usually find links easiy that way since many times it leads to blogs with the link to them. try it. it works well

google is ok, but limewire pretty much has everything.

But to use google:

Type in "I hacked google mp3", then go to the second link i think, then copy the crazy looking question mark to the regular quetion mark and type in your band name and whalah.

I purchased Limewire PRO a while back and now it doesn't work...upon further research it is just a scam and there isn't even a company you can contact...

now I use FROSTWIRE, it's basically Limewire without the virus'

i keep doing rhapsody-to-go free trials so I can load my music up when I need it for free, by album (if I so desire) and legally.

yeah you can download limewire pro from limewire...but it doesnt change the speed or accuracy of the downloads....its just a placebo because is says TURBO CHARGED CONNECTION OMFGS!
