WHERE do YOU buy YOUR outerwear

i just email all the major companys and tell em that gear reviews in magazines are flawed and then tell em to send me some free stuff so i can try and destrpy it and make a real review to determine who has the best gear.

haha in all seriousness tj maxx. i got 10k/10k holden pants for 99 bucks

Dude if you want to wait. I got the sickest deal in june from theskibum.com. I got the spyder godfather pant and jacket for only 350 i think. and it was 675 for it all originally. sweet deal, was still expensive but spyder rocks i love it.

online mostly, and i dont care what year it is. if it looks good, and has good reviews or is from a good company, i buy it. if it isn't torn up and falling apart, i keep using it. my pants are 3 years old, and my jacket is 2. probably getting new stuff next season though. stuff is starting to look beat.

my parents are my outerwear sponsors, but thats about as far as my sponsoring ever goes now. i think they might be dropping me soon too.

but on a serious note, we just go to local ski and board shops, and look for shit thats on sale, or is cheap.

usually local shops, unless it's something I want that can only be bought online. ie. SAGA.
I'm my own sponsor for all my outerwear

ebay, discontinued predatorwear. good quality for cheap. i don't care how good a jacket is. i'm not paying over $200 for clothes.

Shelled out for some Saga pants this season, but usually I buy whatever I need on b/s/t, or some sort of online sale, or I go to a convention.
I mean, I really only replace outerwear after like 3/4 seasons though.

I save money over the summer and then go to town around Christmas (this time usually = sales). This year I decided that I wanted an Arc'Teryx Sidewinder SV Jacket and was able to score it for about $500 (Canadian dollars).

Also, if you can wait, boxing day sales (not sure if you guys have this in the US) - I got a pair of 179 Obsethed with Marker Schizos for $850 this year.

I usually wait until the Orage overstock sale in Burlington in October because it is the current years stuff for extremely cheap. A $350 Jacket for $100? A $200 pair of pants for $75? I think its a good deal.

I don't actually buy outerwear that often but when I do I usually wait for the sale at one of my local shops.
