Where do you buy ski movies?

So I was just wondering where most people get their ski movies, so I figured why not ask you guys.

-Do you get them online or in a retail shop?

-Do you buy them straight from the film company, through a distributor, or through an online store?

-What makes you choose where to get them? (price, shipping, ease of use, package, supporting a company, etc.)

-What would you like to come with your movie? (lanyard, stickers, buy a bunch get a free shirt, etc.)

Anyways, feel free to post your opinions!
 
I get mine from a local shop, I have ordered online from Poorboyz and Level 1 before but both of my orders arrived long after the shipping date, so I find it more convenient to buy from shops. It ends up being less expensive for me too. for free stuff with the movie ide definately say the free subscriptions to freeskier.

Online because no shops around me sell them...

I go through the film company or another online store... I guess it's been 50/50 on which one I buy from

And stickers would be dope to get with your movie.

Yeah man, on a serious note, you should sort it out. It would make my life easier to just make one payment, one shipping charge and get multiple company movies from one place. Including Am and Pro.
Free goodies aren't really appealing to me, just the ease of buying and reliable shipping (being received on the day of release or something like that).

Props on the store man, I'm impressed with the rate at which you are expanding and the quality seems to be dope, it's also nice that you listen to your customers.

Normally from the production companies. Cause stores normally have a week selection. And free stuff is always great wether it be stickers, freeskier or swag all sick. But it would be so sick if we could buy them from NS. Then we would support the companies and NS.
 
I buy the ones that offer special offers like free tees and posters and things from the companys that make them. i buy ones that don't but that are easy enough to find in shops. if they were sold on NS though i'd buy them. i do like to get free stuff though, posters, stickers, hats, shirts and du rags are all cool. i really like the deals level1 and pbp have on. i pre ordered from both of them.
 
i buy them from the online stores of the companies typically. And if I am browsing the ski shop i may get myself a movie to scope. Other than that I trade on NS and buy them from kids because they are cheaper. I also do it to support companies, like stept and what not
 
I get the straight from the films website, its the same price when you add shipping as when you buy from the store, and you usually get some stickers, and a t shirt. (from the bigger companies.)
 
I won them all from NS last year!!!!!

Usually though I will buy them online, from the film company or a kick ass shop like jibij.

Stickers for sure.
 
im just about to oder slamina straight from the 4bi9 site. other than am companies i usually get a better price at shops
 
in the past I have gotten them from the companies websites. but I got tiered of how long it takes poorboyz so I am buying them from Jibij this year.
 
I always buy them in a retail shop because a.) i dont have a credit card to buy them online, b.) i like to support my local shop since he has enough trouble making money as is. He probably doesnt make anything off the movies but whatever. I can use paypal to buy stuff online but by the time my e-check clears and what not its almost 3 weeks.

And i like it when i get stickers and free magazine subscriptions with my dvds.
 
I'll usually buy one or two a year from the local shop, to support the locals s hopefully they will get more selection of movies, and if there's a really good sale online I'll order 'em online. Also I share movies back and forth with friends.
 
I bought "HUNTING YETI" last night at EVO. Convenient that the owner is in the movie... Its super sick and pretty much all bangers.

either online through the retailer (there's usually some sort of preorder deal) or used from someone on here
 
last year i bought them all once they were released in the store, but this year i'm thinking it would be sweet to pre-order. some companies give you extra free shit with the pre-order.
 
habitually i buy them at d-structure, but this year i was way too excited for the ski season to begin and preordered 3 and might buy some others from d-s.
 
Online from the companies website. I want assloads stickers and t-shirts that arent just a brand logo, but designed in some interesting and cool way to come with it, especially if I pre-order.
 
direct from level 1, i like anything that comes with them, shirts and stickers are sick, anything is neat though

I buy movies either from the company or from another site online. I think everyone should take notes from the meatheads and give stickers and a poster with the movies. if not SHIT IS WEAK

I love stickers with my movies, I generally buy like 1-2 a year offline, then trade/buy used for the rest. I switch which companies I buy from, but I can't drop 100 bucks on ski movies...

Almost always online. If I find a deal, usually old movies, I'll pick one up.

Through the film company. I trade and buy a few movies on NS too.

Free shirt, stickers. The free shirt makes it a better deal.
 
I buy them online (because of where I live)..it is possible for me to buy from a shop in Aus, but they never stock the good ones, and the prices tend to be heavily inflated..

As for where I buy, i'll either preorder direct from the company website (i.e. L1P, poorboyz, rage etc) or i'll sometimes even hit ebay if I missed the preorder for whatever reason..

I think I'd definitely hit the NS store up for a vid if the price was competitive and there was some accompanying schwag
 
last year i bought yearbook off ns

i got idea and anomaly from a shop and i got realtime liu and memo from the film company
 
This second hand store in my town sells new ski movies for some reason, and we have a bunch of credit there so it feels like they are free.
