Alright, so I am hopefully enrolling at Purdue for next year, however, I'm yet to be accepted. My backup schools are Ball State and Indiana State. My question, as stated above, where do you attend or plan to attend college?
i used to attend central michigan university. lots of fun but i didnt really put too much work in. now i'm at kirtland regional police academy starting jan 3rd. haha, oh how things have changed
Ohio State University. It's... well, I'm too hard on it. There's a lot of cool people here, and I have fun at Mad River, but I really REALLY want to be out in Utah or Colorado, so my opinion of Ohio is kind of tainted.
Some people take pride in their school... even if it isnt in the mtns.
The University of Cincinnati, and I love it here.
ps Our basketball program might be back..... maybe... to anyone thats cares
I went to Akron for a year then transferred to Univ. of Utah and just graduated from there this semester, so if anyone has questions about either school, hit me up.
True, true. I just had my heart set on the mountains, unfortunately out of state tuition had something to say about that...
I didn't mean to come off as a dick or anything
Colorado School of Mines (CSM) - Petroleum Engineering. That's if the parents let me go out west, they're too afraid i'll ski everyday haha. So the outlook is Ohio State (Industrial Design), Cincinatti (Architecture), and Marrieta (Petroleum). Living in Salt Lake would be my dream but they're engineering programs haven't caught my eye. Any thoughts, suggestions??
Haha this. Plus the schools I've been looking at out west are not "good enough" for me and pretty much all schools out west have a party school reputation.....
I'm only a junior in high school but I've been looking at Montana State, CU Boulder, and want to find some more out west. If anyone has suggestions for a good college out west, let me know! If I'm to stay here in MI: Montana State or Albion College.
From Cincinnati but in my Senior year at Ohio University. I absolutely love it and the best part is that every student love it, too.
UC's DAAP (Architecture and Design program) is one of the most prestigous programs of any program in the world. Good luck getting in man, that'd be awesome.
And, UC's basketball program is a tease, I'm sorry. We haven't played anybody but UD and they aren't who they used to be. :[
Look at Colorado College. It's a private school, but is pretty near the mountains and well regarded academically. I think the only downside would be cost, but hopefully you could subsidize the cost with federal aid.
for skiing purposes... Im at colorado state university, and it basically blows. I am not going to elaborate, but im transferring back to ohio at the semester. Sure the skiing is a dream come true, keystone and breck every weekend, but skiing isn't always everything...
i literally cant say a single bad thing about the U of U. Ive grown up pretty much at Ohio State and am SOO happy I went out west..Im completely satisfied with my college experience right now
haha no i live in the dorms.. and I know the "dry" campus thing scares everyone but my best friend at the U has a beer pong table in his room and pretty much everyone drinks. I dont think Ive had a single time that Ive wanted to get fucked up and havent been able to. The whole dry campus thing is just a title to make all the mormons happy
haha nice, I was just curious how strict it was there. I applied there for grad school and I would probably live off campus so it wouldn't be an issue for me anyways.
