Where do I mount my Reckoner 102's

Grabbed a pair of Reckoner 102's and I'm trying to decide where to mount them. I'd be riding 70/30 park/all mtn. I've been mounting skis at center for years but it seems like these might be happier with a mount slightly behind center. Thoughts?

Guessing you'd be best off mounting on the "Team" line, which is around -2 cm from true center. Unless you're skiing switch literally 50% of the time, I think the Team line would give you the best combo of forward and switch skiing. It's not a symmetrical ski and isn't designed around a dead-center mount, so I think at least going -2 from true center makes sense, but Twig might disagree with me. As someone who spends a lot of time on much more directional skis, I liked it both on the Team line and the "midsole" line, which is around -4 cm from true center.

Historically, I've always been a center-mounter but mine are at -1cm from true and they ski nicely there. I have no doubt at all that they would also ski well at center, and a touch better all mountain at -2cm. Personally, I wouldn't go further back than that for 70% park. Beyond that, it's more personal preference than anything.

I go -2cm off of center on these which is very, very close to where the team mark is. I know a few other people who have skied them a good amount also do this.

Team mark is like -2.25 or something like that, they ski great on that line. The ski has a big sweet spot so -1 or -2 wouldn’t make too much of a difference IMO. For 70% park I’d go -1.5 to split the difference. Swing weight will still be balanced but you’ll have a tiny bit more leverage when not in the park

Just picked some up and curious the logic behind the very tiny difference in your -2 true center and the team line? Can you really tell a difference in less than 1cm on this ski?

Just a creature of habit is all. But you're correct, not much difference if any at all. I've actually caved and gone just to running the team line straight up recently.

Thanks, I would usually mount around -2 back from center but if it’s all the same on team line I’ll probably just put it there! Appreciate it!

I am thinking about grabbing this years 102 and mounting Marker Duke pros on it. I would use it pretty much as a daily driver with hopefully at least a dozen of tours this season.

Any thoughts on that specific combo?

Also, any suggestions about what skins to get?
