so i got a brand new pair of arg's for 300$ and now im looking on where to mount them. i just want to know where you mounted yours and what you ride and how you liked it. I'm going to be doing a bit of switch riding and tricks since i really wanna bring my park tricks to pow so i was thinking maybe -3 from center? i dont want to go too far forward for chance of tip dive on large drops or too far back for poor switch riding/landings. suggestions would be much appreciated. im 5'7-5'8 135 lbs.

i asked the same question a couple of weeks ago and everyone said from 5 back to 3 back was money i would personally suggest 3.5 to 4, but i dont really know its just what im mounting mine at

6 cms ahead of true center

just kidding man

i think 2 cms back would probably be ideal because dont they have some weird side cut that makes them ideal almost centered if not centered?

I mounted mine on the recomended boot centre and had no tip dives and some wheelies (as is the case with rocker) so I would say a bit fwd of boot centre will do no harm.

hey i'm about the same size as you and i mounted mine 3.5 back from center. they were sweet and really fun (how could they not be?) that being said i felt like i was a little ahead of the side cut within a sidecut once i was out of the pow and heading back to the chair. and i think that i would like to be a little more back. so i am probably moving mine this year to 4.5 or 5 back. i know another guy that has them and he says 5 back is perfect. but it's probably personal preference, especially if you are worried about how much tail you have (3.5 back was plenty). just sharing my expirience

I think it's awfully hard to tip dive with a reverse-camber, reverse side cut ski. I wouldn't be to afraid to slap some bindings on right in the middle
