OK there is 2 kinds of orange fence one is thin and soft plastic that doesnt work/ the other is thicker and hard plastic, this slides but u have little control. U can get indoor/outdoor carpet, this works the best

TO CLEAR THINGS UP-

This is the orange plastic construction fence, avaliable in all good hardware stores dirt-cheap and works quite well

Subsrt1.jpg

And this is called DENDIX, used all over the UK for dry-slopes, this pic is from hemel, uk. I dont think it is readily avaliable to buy in small quantities, and can be expensive.

yeah, i no that shit has to be expensive, ohh and has anyone tried play grass. its better than dendix, i heard

I WANT TO SKI SO FUCKING BADLY I CANT STAND IT ANY LONGER

i got it at OSH in the garden department, its $20 for a 8' x 4' slab. I used it today and it slides pretty good, you just need water. And what do you mean 'play grass'? if you mean astro turf it dosnt slide until you soak it in soapy water, then its pretty good, but you need a kinda steep hill.

astroturf isnt that expensive is it?? theres thinner astroturf and theres thicker astroturf. Thicker stuff is used at driving ranges for hitting and then thinner stuff is used at minature golf courses.

i was going to go for a quad daffy but i was like, why huck? -mommy

yeah they use tht dendix shit on water ramps and it works pretty well

ahhhhhh so confused... i wanna do something but i dotn wanna pasy too much on something that wont work

My stuff is kinda like that above, only the holes are a lot smaller so there's more plastic to ski on. I just got it yesterday. I'm trying to find enough ratty plywood to put under it, although i tried to skiied on it without, it seems to work better when theres a hard surface under it. Which makes sense obviously.

Snow control fence, but mine isn't actually like any of those. It's more like rectangles than square 'links' (if you can call them that), and smaller holes, like I said. But snow control fence is what they mean.

I got it for free, my dad used to use it to keep my dog in one part of the yard. I have about 200 feet of the stuff, too. But they sell stuff like that at home depot. I donno what it's worth.

CCREW

Haha I doubt it, that's not what it's for. They probly haven't tested it.

Shit man I just threw away about 600 feet of that stuff becuase we never use it anymore. I would have gladly given it to y'all on behalf of T-line.

Sorry

just tell them you want orange, plastic construction fence. my first roll was 25$ for a 4' 50' foot roll and the 2nd roll was on sale for 15$

me and my friend just did a setup using turf and it works great, also ook into turf, and one sheet of neon light cover (funbox material) in the tranny should keep you going quick for cheap.

You're either talking about Dendex as GT said, or snowflex. Either way it's expensive as hell. I think new Snowflex (the stuff with no holes in) costs around £50 per sq. metre, and dendex (criss-cross stuff) is a bit less. You could probably pick it up cheap second hand, but there arn't many places in the U.S. that have it i think.
