Where can I get a Compressor to Compress vid's and photos, can I download one online for free?

Use Windows Movie Maker 2 if you have XP. Yes, it's pretty shitty for editing, but it's great for compressing - WMV has the best quality/size ratio I think.

 
Yeah, DivX is good, but not everyone (in fact, probably less than half of 'normal' computer users) have the DivX codec, so think about that.

 
sorry to bring back an old thread but, I need a video compressor that will compress to quicktime movies... thanks (im using Adobe Premiere Pro 7.0)
 
theres a ton of places you can download it. you just export as an .avi then open it in sorenson squeeze and can compress it into .wmv .mov .flv .mp4 pretty much everything
