just orderd some bibbys from moment and wondering where other people are mounting there bindings on them and what bindings your putting on them too. mostly gonna be skiing BC glade powder and bc jumps with some park mixed in, i wnat them to be good for switch riding also.

I dunno where to mount them but I'd put Jesters on them.

what's your weight height and ability. I assume you are a good skier and have avvy gear if you are in the BC. If you know how far back core center or recommended is from true center I could help with mounting.

yea more side country than BC, but im still waiting on them to arrive, shoud be soon, so when they do ill know about the core center and suggested mounting. i found salomon sth 14's in vancouver on sale for 329 or the jesters for 375 and griffons for 250. so i may go for the sth's because of the price, unless the jesters are worth it? im like 5,11 and 140 pounds. i dunno what my ability is on a rating scale but ive done a few lessons over the years and i was in the highest level group. im an aggresive skier and doing spins like 900's and different flips in the park and kickers we've built.

thanks, im gonna guess you ski alot of switch then. i have my park skis a finger width back from center ill probably go for true center on the bibbys or just back from it. what bindings are you going with?

Damn thats expensive as fuck, I'm glad I'm not in Canada.

STH 14's would probably be fine, well not probably, they would haha. Even Griffons if you want, at your weight/height they should be fine for you especially with Bibby's which aren't really a charging ski.

I'd mount them like -2 from center probably. Just because it will help them float, then again with the rocker they might be fine at true center or -1, but we're talking centimeters here so it's not going to be a huge deal if it's -1 rather than -2 or whatever.

when i went home to VT to visit some friends i just wet to every ski shop on killington. and found a pair of brand new 185's that one store just hadnt sent back yet. i got em fr under 140

why not just mount -3.5 from center? Thats still pretty close switch will b fine and they will b so much better in pow

thanks, ive never had to mount pow skiis i usually jsut snowboard cause my park skis suck in powder, stoked to get out there on skiis this year though. ill have a look into getting em shipped from the states, maybe save some money but it can be pretty close with shipping and duty depending on where there made.

haha, good point. i guess if any one really knows its moment, they even write it on the ski's so you dont have to think about it.

I have early release Bibbys and my line is marked dead center. I mounted 2 cm back from center and they ride pow switch excellently and I am still able to drive the ski riding forwards without going over the tips in pow. Occasionally I was able to outdrive the ski in super hard turns but it rarely happened to me. That said I have heard the recommended is -3cm back from center. Either way, these skis are sooooo sick.
