Where are ARMADA Skis Made?

maybe we can end this. Listen to Tanner's first words....here we are at _____

http://www.redbullskiing.com/videos/2008/01/thall-euro-trip-atomic-tour.php Tanner getting his skis from the factory. The history or the future as to where they make their skis is based on quality and economic sense.

Atomic has gained tremendously from what the Armada crew has designed / done there....and so has Armada benefitted from the engineers and the machinery etc...outsourcing - they both are pro ski builders http://www.armadaskis.com/team/pro/tanner_hall_v4.php they r GOOD F skis. (ARV's) if u want to design quick and build with quality quick what better way to go...

Atomic, Head and FIscher were Austria's top 3, if not the world's top 3 at one time.

A lot of companies are experimenting with chinese manufacturing....lower cost. do the toxic / glues, chemicals work over there for low wages. But quality and shipping are issues..

These are no surprise.... business is business some with more passion....

Icelantic, RMU and Fatypus are all pressed in denver, but for some reason i thought kingswood was in New Zealand, not north america

and 4frnt is in elan which is in slovenia

Bluehouse (at least most) are made in the Matrix Snowboarding factory in China. Some Boone is made there also, but not sure which models (ie. the customs they advertise). The factory is fucking huge; they make something like 70% of the worlds kiteboards too.

Elan's factory is in Slovenia (and yes, very high quality), Atomic's is in Austria which is where Armada skis are made (although I thought I remember reading the fleet series might be produced somewhere else that is cheaper, who knows).

Originally armada skis where made in some shitty factory that made snowboards in like canada. Now they are made in the atomic factory in austria because it a way better factory but it is not cheaper. Thats why there skis where poorly made when they first started.

Fact - Armada's skis are PRESSED right here in Altenmarkt, Austria in the Atomic factory (full cap skis are pressed by Head). I stress the word "pressed" because Armada is in control of their own R&D, materials selection, marketing, etc. We just supply them with a world class facility to actually produce their skis.

if you want to purchase skis for less than $700 then they are for sure made in a large factory and subbed out to someone. The material cost for a small us company to build is around $150+ and then add labor, insurance, and shop costs, you can forget about seeing a full US ski retail for any less than $800 that is worth riding

Moment and ON3P are clearly not worth my time then.

When will we have a special sarcasm indicative font for posts?
