So snow in the UK. That doesn't happen frequently and all of you UK jibbers have a chance to go and pioneer a bunch of stuff. I don't know if London got much snow, but seeing footage of guys hitting handrails in the shadow of Big Ben or Buckingham Palace would be epic. Forget about doing anything steezy on it. Just the shot itself would be pure gold. All I have seen so far are guys working on their backyard setups. Fuck that! Even if I knew I was going to get pwn'd or busted by the cops, I'd still be out there trying to hit some urban stuff that no one has ever hit before and may not be able to hit again for another 15 years. Seriously guys, get on it and post the vid.
 
We got moved on while attempting urban in central london. In Trafalgar Square, where the police moved in on us as soon as we produced a shovel. Everywhere else, the snow was too churned up from all the tourists. The problem with central London is that security is so tight, as soon as anything out of the ordinary occurs, it's dealt with.

Don't they have doughnut breaks in England? I still say someone's got to hit something there and post it. The cop thing just makes it that much sicker.
 
And that was at Liv St. Station, where the is very little security. There's only really police at the biggest stations, Covent Garden, Oxford st, Holborn, etc. But for proper urban, all the best places are no go zone for freesports. We hit a few rails near where we live in North London, and a couple at our uni, but everywhere is on lockdown 24/7.
 
Next time is snows in Stratford-Upon-Avon i'll endeavour to get some shots outside of Shakespeare's birthplace, ya know... the writer dude, Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet, yea him where he was born, i went to the same school as he did...CLAIM!
 
my friend got a photo of himself hitting urban in kent which was pretty sick cos its england (but hes a snowboarder)
 
We need to have an organised NS urban session for people in the Midlands/South East, where most people seem to be.

Part of the problem is not being able to build inruns/ booters etc quick enough before we're moved on. If we'd had a fifth person building with us, we could have shaved at least 5 mins off our time, and got a few shots
 
im in! ive found a few good urban sites near where i live but wouldn't be anywhere as sick as in front of big ben or something like that.... like someone said further up the thread there are so many cameras watching you the cops would be on you within seconds....

....and they will send plain clothes marksmen and you better hope you're not dressed like a brazilian electrician. or you have had it. and your jibbing, london style, will come to an abrupt, violent, tragic end.
but hey? where is the fun in not trying???
 
I've never heard of skis being used in a terrorist act. Get creative guys. Make a mold, pack snow in it, then pull it out and drop it down. Instant jump. Hit and run before the cops have time to react. There has got to be a way to get some sick urban shots in London.
 
There would be some sick places to do urban in and around London for sure. Some clips with the main sights involved would be cool. Just a shame there is really any urban around here for me to do, that and the fact I don't have a camera to film it all. Be still cool to see some footage if anyone gets any.
 
Nice!!!!!! Stoked that you guys are getting it done. It would be awesome to have a shot where there is no confusing it with anywhere else but the UK. That shot looks like it could be anywhere in the US. No hate at all.
 
sick jamie!think im heading out on an urban assault mission today, no douby get shut down incredibly quickly. but we'll see. i was in africa for 13 days so have missed half of this snow!!!!
 
Isn't busking legal in trafalgar square? Should have claimed that.
Doing anything illegal in London isn't too dangerous because British cops are a joke. They can't shoot at you if you run away, and the uniform is just barley becoming modern, so you can just bolt from everything.
Unlike America there are a lot of cops on foot though.
