Where a mother fucking helmet,,

I always wear a helmet, since i have a lot of ice on my hill......It has saved me froma few hospital trips
 
couldn't agree more about good communication. i landed on a 8 years old kid in the park once because he was sitting in the landing of a table. my ski hit the back of his head right between the bindings. i thought i killed him and was going to jail. by some miracle, he just had to walk/cry it off. i don't get people sometimes, i've always been super paranoid about being in the landing where i cannot be seen.

and i wish my mom would buy me safety gear... "mom, want to buy some beacons for christmas or something? it will help me not die" "fuck you". at least i have a few helmets to beat on.

and i think the link to the helmets was perfectly appropriate and the original poster was way out of line with the "FUCK YOU"
 
get some of those strap extenders or whatever they are called. i'm sure someone knows what i am talking about and tell you the real name.
 
oakley make a wisdom goggle strap thats like 15 bucks and it fits almost all helmets. just go to your oakley dealer and ask them to order it
 
i always wear my helmet, and i yell at my friends for not wearing them. one of them got knocked out on some urban rail last year while wearing a helmet, and he's been riding without one for some of this year. my friends are retards.
 
Sorry about your friend. My parents make me wear a helmet. After that I'm glad they do. A lot of accidents can be avoided, but some can't, that's why they make helmets.
 
i don't wear a helmet because i think i am going to smash my own head, i wear one cause i think some dumbass is going to hit me. good point.
 
My neighbor died cause he wasnt wearing a helmet this summer, as some of u already know....... i always wear a helmet when i'm in the park, or i know i'm gonna be doin some cliffs or somethin...... hopefully the pro's will learn from this CR incident and start setting examples
 
my wisdoms fuckin suck on my helmet so i never wore it last year, then my wisdoms got stolen so i have EG1's now, but now i can rock my brain pad more, prob will always cuz i also got tune ups
 
To anyone who says, "helmets don't offer much protection anyway" who gives a shit? Don't you want to give yourself the best chance possible to save yourself in a gnarly crash? I've never heard about helmets contributing to head injuries.

Every year I retire my old helmet and just looking at it is all the reassurance I need, there are so much chips in it from hitting rocks, branches, exc.

Ohh yeah and everytime you have a really good crash where your helmet takes a really hard impact, you should replace it.

I started wearing one a few years ago and it has saved me from a lot of possible head injuries, it doesn't take a hard knock to break and unprotected head.
 
i always wear my hard hat. I have had three concussions and skull fracture so it makes sense. I get made fun of for it but i know who will be laughing when they are the ones going to the hospitAl for not wearing one.
 
i wear a helmet all the time because for one, it can save my life. But i also find its thicker and therefore warmer than a beanie.
 
the kid who started this thread, CalskierX crashed while riding out on a misty today and probobally got a concusion. Had he not had his helmet on things would have been alot worse. It's a good thing he pratices what he preaches.

Holy shit, why did Kye drop the fucking cliff before he saw CR ride away??!!! That is one of my worst fears.

I always patiently wait til i see someone ride away from the jump no matter what, no matter how long it takes. What the fuck is the rush? CR sounds in bad shape... :(
 
It blows my mind whenever I see ski movies that have professionals going huge in parks and even worse in backcountry with only a hat. I think they should be role models and set the example that helmets should be worn. Everyone one of us on this site looks up to these guys. If they always wore helmets, we would too.
 
i don't get all the snowboarders doing urban with no helmets. i effing hate rails and i want to wear my full face helmet when i do sketchy or urban ones lol
