When you daydream about skiing is it in first person or third person

For example, when thinking about hitting a S rail, do you think about how it feels to lean into the bends and spin out of it, or do you think about what it would look like to grease the whole thing as a bystander

Both at the same time

In my daydreams, I've got all the angles, 1st person, the left side of the feature, the right side, super far, fpv drone, and sometimes it's in a fish eye lens.

Thats a good question. Im going to say 60% 3rd person from above-behind position. For the 1st person daydreaming, its more distorting time and speed. Like slowing down a rodeo 7 to lock a mute grab, then once the grab is locked, return to normal speed.

Daydreaming either, but I’ve had some crazy dreams in 1st person where I stomp tricks I would never actually try. I think Ive watched enough skiing to know exactly what is should look like and then my mind just puts me into that place but in 1st person. Always wake up sad to know I’ll never actually be that good

i always visualize doing dub 10’s. so in my head i feel like i can do them 100% but if i were to try one irl i would snap my neck

Mostly 1st person bc that’s most realistic, at least for learning tricks. Once I am cleaning them up I think in 3rd person to get the style I want. Body doesn’t always cooperate but visualizing as vividly as possible with all your senses helps

Recently I’ve been visualising the point from the landing of one feature to the lip of the next. I’ve been missing out on half the fun of skiing a park where there’s more edge work and control between features as opposed to straight lining with a speed check here and there. The dead space between features shouldn’t be dead if at all possible and improving that is in the forefront of my mind now.

1st person and I always go ridiculously massive but only do tricks I can actually do irl

Daydreaming it is usually first for me as I am trying to visualize and imagine the feeling along with the motions needed. When I am dreaming while asleep it is both as I can feel what I am doing but also watching myself. That is until I huck the huge cliff and free fall for minutes it seems and wake right before I go splat!

had one crazy dream where i was effortlessly stomping tons of tricks i’ve never done before (in first person). it was super realistic and trippy cause i can do them all on the tramp so i know how they feel, but it was a totally different experience with skis on. best dream i’ve had in a while

I'm always looking for my boots.

Night dreams are usually this or forgetting to bring skis on the chairlift. As a recovered steep addict, daydreams are mostly POV or third person from behind.

Conscious reflection where I’m “daydreaming” to figure out something I’m doing wrong, always first person. Daydreaming because I’m bored on the lift, whole fucking edits in third person.

Night Dreams: Hey remember when you got concussed at Nashoba when you were a kid? What if you’ve been in a coma this whole time?

I imagine rails filmed from a low angle with a fisheye lens and jumps with a follow cam.

Whenever Im driving somewhere I imagine im skiing the ditches at the same speed as my car. Like pump tracking all the drive ways and sending the rock ridges or tail tapping the trash cans. Sometimes I cant stop

definitely 1st person for me. skiing dreams are way too rare though, wish I could get them to happen more

Had a ski dream I lip 2’d onto our quad and it was filmed like a old level one movie so i’d say 3rd person
