When will we see a bigger spin?

In the past years skiers and snowboarders have been pushing it so hard, when do you think we will see a bigger spin than like what is the the biggest spin now 1620, 1800?

the question should be, is a 1620 going to look any good. is it going to b possible to make a clean, tweaked grab when your hucking a spin that hard.

(insert the hated p word here) should be more technical spins and grabs - double corks, flat spin variations, double grabs like the octa (which looks just fucking sick btw).

pretty sure im preaching to the converted on this site tho.

yeah larger spins=not so sick

also, the whole bigger jump thing is kinda rediculous, i mean at one points its not going to be progressive, its going to be retarded...what i want to see is more jibbing in the BC, not booters but 7s off of cliffs, snowboarders have been doing it for years, but we do not see it enough in our ski movies

I know it doesnt look as sick but its huge, and different at the x games last year all saw was switch 1260s, maybe if they steped it up and hit the jump normal they could go a little bigger and at another spin and there and make it look nice.

i did a 180 this weekend. that was pretty sick.

i even grabbed a ski.

Should I put a vid together and go get some?

kinda tend to argee my favorite spins are the super steezy spins over huge jumps not just hucking your self and trying to spin super fast

what??

you think I should huck a three? I mean, thats a big step.

I bet it'd just be sloppy and all over the place. im not down for that, im all about style.

dude, 12's are the max anyone should ever spin, anything higher and it loses it style, and when you watch it ur like, wft, how many? While with a 9, 10, and maybe 12(which is a push) ur like that was smooth, clean, and stylie. Nothins gonna get bigger than a 16 in the future.

no hate.

i once saw a guy do a backwards spinny dowhacky and it was awesome. he even grabbed a ski with the wrong hand. it was insane.

i passed out i was so in awe of what had happend.

give them a huge BC kicker with realy steep slope which allows lots of air time and...booyah! a switch 2460 in the BC!

ya wait till i throw my smooth big spins and my skis fly off.

how does tj keep his shit on?

100% of everything ive ever tried over 720 my skis fly off.

my dins are at 10, how, HOW DO THEY DO IT?

exatly, which is why i think they are just going to stick with the less rotated spins, and make them look steezer and smooth

i tooold you. your skis fall off because you have salomon bindings. ever seen mine fall off for no reason? no. i have looks and rossis.

i love spinning in all forms.

funny how im the gay one, when you seem to have all the gay sites on your bookmarks.

wierd how that shit works huh?

tj's the only person to have done a 14 rite...has anyone in skiing OR snowboarding done bigger or is that just maxed out...

i know I will get disses for this but, TJ's 14 was sloppy, on his last 3 did anyone else see how he just like hucked as hard as he could cause he wasn't gonna make it? It just seems like too much. Plus, now anyone who wants to win a big air has to trhow a 14. my bad, a switch 14

we just did, was dumonts's or tj's who ever it was's sw1440 no good? 4 funn rotations starting backwards earns my respecr, and he didnt just get it around. he stoped it with style. the sport will progress to much more no doubt but let it take its time. id rather see nice corked 1080's with a double jap then someone try to huck a helli spin straight up like they want to die but somehow land it.

Yeah, he was cranking the last 540 out of that spin, I have to agree. The question is, what is the biggest you can go with style? If style isnt a factor... well, in aerials, I'm pretty sure someones done a triple rodeo 1800, pencil steeze.
