When wearing boardshorts, boxers or commando?

So I got into a heated debate last night about wearing boxers under boardshorts with no netting. Who does it? and why would you! Kinda defeats the pupose of wearing comfortable board shorts. These kids are crazy. Anyway, what do you do?
 
boxers for sure...so when i come out of the water my ass crack isn't hanging out...let's be honest - no one wants to see that and I don't want to wear shorts that are so damn tight that they cut off circ to my legs...
 
what! lame. my shorts are tight enough that they don't fall off in the water or rip off from waves. Boxers chafe and never dry either.
 
commando fo sho, when i put on my boardshorts i am planning to get wet, and wet underwear makes me feel like crap. so why wear boxers?
 
wearing boxers underneath boardshorts is just silly. then you have wet boxers stuck to your ass the rest of the day.

yeah, I remember but I wasn't sure what to search for. oh well.

anyway, yeah I don't know why so many people last night thought it was weird to not wear boxers underneath and they thought my boardshorts were gonna be randomly falling down or something. mine were the only ones that actually fit and weren't hanging halfway down my ass with cold wet boxers out. shit whatever, I'll keep on doing what I'm doing.
 
commando if i'm plannin to swim, but if i'm just wearin them as shorts or if i have to hike to get to a swimming spot or somethin then i wear boxers.
 
really depends on the fit of the boardshort. i have a pair or two which are too big around the waste, so i wear boxers underneath. however, i also have a few pairs that fit rather well, so no underwear is neccesary. commando feels significantly better though
 
Everytime I see people wear boxers with boardshorts my first reaction is always that these are not the type of people who belong in water. I guess I am more comfortable with having my junk semi exposed from playing water polo and swimming since we have to wear speedos. But really, I wore boxers with em once and it was not comfortable at all. It feels absolutely disgusting. I feel like some people do it because they think it looks good... It doesn't... at all.
 
I wear boxers because I have a pair of white boardshorts. I don't know why I purchased them but I need to get a dark pair so I don't have to wear boxers with them.
 
commando for sure. when you wear boxers you get mad wedgies and the constrict your junk and get all bunched up and it sucks for sure.
 
so a guy wearing boxers under his boardshorts looks bad, but a guy going commando with his junk sticking out looks good?
 
The boxers always stick out the top of the boardshorts which looks dumb. And I donno what kind of boardshorts you are wearing but mine certainly dont have a hole in the front that lets my cash and prizes stick out. Your junk is inside the shorts.

You just need to get more comfortable with your balls son. All guys have them and all girls love them so show them a little love too.

freeballin' is the way to go, boxers just get annoying. i wore boardshorts every day for the last week of school, commando every day of course, and it was the most comfortable week of my life
 
I wear white ones so I wear boxers. Never buy a white bathing suit. It is see through and gets dirty very quickly.
 
Dude white is wear its at. Dont they have a built in mesh lining so you cant see through em? Who cares if they are see through. Show that shit off haha. It will attracted the ladies attention... hopefully in a good way.
 
commando. all previous years have been boxers, but then i was waterskiing oneday with out boxers, and it was the best thing in the world.. so liberating
