When was the last time they changed the look/rossi binding?

just out of curiosity, when was the last time they made any changes to the Look/Rossi binding? I have no idea, it seems like it's been the same forever.

Perhaps if it was as light as salmomon bindigns, it would perform like salomon bindings, which in my opinion is shitty. i don't think they should change em for another few years... unless something revolutionary comes about.

yeah i had a problem of pre release outta my salomons, i had to crank the din up so i wouldnt eject all the time (i was ejecting on straight airs as soon as i was off the lip, i would lose a ski,lame) my rossis work much better

why does every one hate markers so bad just wondering? ive only used um for like 2 runs on my friends skis a few years ago and they dident seem to bad

 
why ski markers? they dont have nearly the rotational relese of the rossi or look or line for that matter. plus, they have racer stigma too.

^^Marker is a good race binding, but it doesn't hold up to the abuse of freeskiing, and since it doesn't have any elasticity, it always pre-releases on short hard hits (aka landing a jump or something comparable) where the Look/Rossi would hold on. But the Look/Rossis will always release exactly when you need em to (in fact they are more dependable because the toe wings twist in every direction, and the heel piece turns on a turntable too)

All in all, Rossi/Look is just a better binding

just so pow-canuck knows, marker has less elastic travel than the other manufacturers, higher initial retention and if you buy the right level binding from them (the 14.0 series) you get a featrure from the race line (equivalent to a P18) called comshock that seriously reduces those short duration, high frequency hits and keeps you centered.

i agree with what jdmay said, but also i bet (and hope) that they work on the weight a little each year. because isnt´the titanium version pretty new and lighter? imnot sure but i think it is

yeah, they changed the outers slighty a few years ago. no internal changes, just cosmetic

opps, that was free advertising.
