When to go to hospital

Really hurt knee yesterday, coping to knee.

Serious pain, can not stand without support. Can move foot and everything but can not lift leg.

Should I go?

Hospitals are a government conspiracy to prolong the life of citizens so they can continue to tax them.

Do not support the establishment! Boycott healthcare!

No, you really should go though and get x-rays. Might be nothing, or might be something that needs attention.

Yeah I'm gonna go tomorrow. I'm not on any insurance anymore, and I gotta wait for my dad to take me...

pretty sure if you have to wait for your dad to take you, you're under 26 and still on your parents insurance. or just really, really poor

Once an injury impedes normal daily functions, it's probably good to get them checked out by some medical professional

i've fucked myself pretty good a few times without any major injuries other than a couple teeth and broken bones, and I generally don't go unless it's immobilizing for more than a few days.

im 21 and i live in my car for most of the year, so yeah.

If you haven't gone already I would price it out with and without insurance and ask a lot of questions about the price of different potential scenarios. Probably will need more expensive tests than an x-ray to figure out if something in your knee needs to be fixed. If something needs to be fixed it can add up fast.

No, you fucking moron. He was asking because you should still be on your parents insurance... unless they are unhappy with your lifestyle and kicked you off.

yeah, basically every tendon in my knee was stretched twisted/ whatever out, and it should be fine in a week or so.

Not everyone comes from a family willing to support their kid until they are a fucking middle aged person. 21 is plenty old enough to cut the cord.

Yes. That goes along with what was said.

Also. You think 26 is middle aged? Wtf?

I was exaggerating because 26 is plenty old enough to stay out of mommy and daddy's wallets. You made it sound like it's standard to be on your parents insurance until you are forced off at 26.

Generally if a 25 year old doesn't have health insurance through their job it is a cheaper, better option to stay on the parents insurance than go through the open market. Assuming the parents have insurance. Tgat would beg the question, why would the parents not allow him on their insurance...

Similarly, I get a better car insurance rate on my parents insurance so I stay on it. Doesn't cost them extra because I pay for my portion, but I do take advantage of their discount. Ya dig?
