one tat i thought was really cool was when a father tattooed his sons number (firefighting) just above his heart. because his son died firefighting.

but i know people who got a deathly hollows tat.. like what?! and 2 girls i know got exactly the same tat, one girl convinced the other to get it with her and they both are getting them removed.

 
i hate them, i would never get them. i cant wait to see this generation be in there 80's all wrinkled and have those tatoos still

But each to their own. They obviously think it looks good. As long as it has a meaning to them and they look it I think it's fine.

Who am I to judge how they look?
 
lost of these people have the mindset "live free, die young" and they go do irrational shit like this. that state of mind is cool and all but, not for me i guess. i still go hard in the paint. but a big fricken tattoo isnt something ima do to myself.
 
I have one tattoo and plan on getting another. But the only reason I decided to do them is because they both have a huge amount of meaning to me. The first represents my city and a song that has a lot of meaning to me. The second is going to represent a place that holds a special spot in my heart and is a major part of what made me who I am today.

What I can't understand is when people go into tattoo parlors to get tattoo's that they think are 'cool'. Or they just choose one of the designs off the wall. If your going to get a tattoo make damn sure it's something that is very important to you, because you'll have it for the rest of your life.

This. I have 2 tattoos on my left arm (both have meaning, for my grandfather and another for an incident that affected my life for some time). I was at the bar a couple weeks ago and this fat bitch started chirping them, so I pretty much told her that she was a fat fuck (used worse language, I was very drunk) and called her out how I didn't bring up the fact that she could easily afford to loose 100+ LBS and how she thought she had the right to comment on something thats on my body. I then ordered 2 shots of JD, took one, then put the other in my mouth, spit it on her and walked out. Probably very uncalled for but at the time it felt justified haha.
 
There are a lot of people that don't understand the solid 7 joke anymore. It's actually lost pretty much all relevance because so many people use it inappropriately.
 
this. i think its so important to have a special meaning to get a tattoo because its meant to last forever. you dont want something 'in the moment' cus most likely you wont like it in a few years. i have this 'friend' that has a theory is if you have ink you get the pink, which is hilarious since he only had one girlfriend. anyways one of his tattoos has stars and clouds on it and some old adidas saying. all of my friends chirp him and he turned into a huge tool. ill try to get a picture because i couldnt believe it.

Stupid mobile. Anyway, it's pathetic when people spend their time worrying what other people do to their bodies. It affects you in no way, so stop making it your problem.
