Im not sure what day my mountain opens, but I know its in 65 days... to lazy to figure out that date.

im at mt.washington in BC

when will you start skiing?

(I know mountains often open early, but whats the date its giving out, or date it often open's)

Well in the NE Killington says they will be open November 16th and the closest mountain to me would be Wachusett and they say the day after thanksgiving...this all depends on the weather and the fact that it will be 80 again by the end of the week.

ABasin is lookling like it will most likely open October 12 or 13, though they're making a push to get it done for this weekend.

Keystone...Nov 9

Breck....Nov 9

Beaver Creek....Nov 21

Vail....Nov 16

Loveland....Mid October

A-Basin.....Mid October

Whistler Blackcomb - November 22, 2007

Anyone know about Grouse/Cypress/Seymour? Obviously, it's unpredictable, but I'd be interested to find out when they're planning to open.

my non local hill that is an hour away and another one about 45min away are prob opening early Nov

The hill I havea season pass to prob not till end Nov/Dec

I always thought it was about the week after Whis.

Last year cypress had a couple runs open same weekend whis opened, like November 15. They should be similar this year, too.

Here in the heartland, the local hill Sundown, usually opens the day after thanksgiving but, last year it didn't until Dec. 6th but the year before that it opened on time, it all depends on how cold Nov. is. -- Last year my schedule made it so that I was at A-Basin for opening weekend, I remember waiting 45-60min before I got back up the lift!

Sadly, I'll be stuck here in Iowa and I'll have to wait till Sundown starts making fake snow
