When is the best time to buy skis?

I'm looking for some new skis. Should I buy them now and use them for the last half of this season. Or buy the after this season and use them for next year?

Are there really good deals after the season is over? Thanks

Near the end of this season equipment will go on sale, then again early next season (whatever is left over from this year). 50% off is about all you'll get from a retailer on current model equipment, a little better next fall on discontinued stuff.

 
Dont buy on ebay around late october - December. Everybody is buying shit on ebay and you will have more competition. i get great deals on skiing in April and September typically

Since you live in Ohio and it appears ur into LINE then most ski comps inlcuding LINE sell all there shit at the end of the season for CHEAP! last yea line sold everything for $200.

 
mid april to july thats when the new models are out and are abundent and everyones thinkin about other spring stuff (lacrosse,baseball,trampin swimmin, sexin) in that time people forget about skiin at least its not their obsession. but come august real freeskiers want snow and get their equipment so gettin good skis costs more. buy in may I bought 1080's last may with s912 brand new for $320 on ebay I grew too much over the summer, and realized they suck, sold them this nov for $500 on ebay thats a price change.
