When is my Saga stuff going to ship?

I pre ordered my stuff from Saga and it said that they will start shipping in October. Anyone know how long it usually takes for them to send it out? I'm eager as hell to get my new stuff. And I know it's only the first, just need something to help push me through fall

Most likely in October, judging by how you said they will start shipping in October, I assume that your Saga stuff will begin the shipping process somewhere between the 1st and 30th of October.

October

We anticipate the bulk of our shipping to begin mid October. We will be releasing more precise shipping information as soon as we have it. Once we have the inventory in house your order will be processed. Even with the substantial amount of pre orders we received over the summer months we are usually able to work through all of them within a couple of days. Once your order is processed you will receive shipping information. From there it is in the hands of the shipping company.

At no point in the video or in the description of the video are we at all trying to claim the factory is in the US. The purpose of the video was to say our products are made in a factory that we are very proud of and aren't trying to hide behind anything. You can attach a stigma to where the factory is if you want but that is just being ignorant about the textiles industry and generalizing. As you can see in the quote below that is taken directly from the video.

"Saga has been coming to China for 4+ years now and it is no secret that we do our full outerwear production here. In fact, we are very proud of this but it gets a strange reaction from those not completely aware of a world class outerwear production. China has been and still is the forefront of technical outerwear."

This. I don't even particularly like Saga stuff personally but there's nothing wrong with being made in China.

Hell, fkn Arc'Teryx is made in china these days. Suck a pile of whale dicks TannerBalls.

I respect your transparency about your business model..

Now, how much do your Expert Technical Outwear Technicians make per day? Probably a lot because of their expertise, no?

The only reason China has "world class outerwear production ... forefront of technical outerwear" *cough* bullshit! Is because of low wages.

Your point being???

Show me where there is a quantitative correlation between the measurable "quality" of outerwear and proximity to the US. I'm dying to see where you're getting your holier-than-thou stance from because it certainly isn't anything rooted in reality, industry, QC measures or even loosely based on any of those factors. I'm guessing your mommy didn't hug you enough times this morning and you're looking to talk shit for no reason as you're coming across as someone who doesn't understand what they're even talking about even a little bit.

I own some really nice US made shit and I also own some chinese made high end gear and they're pretty much the same- the chinese stuff might even be a little better tbh.

If it was all made in the US you'd be fucking complaining about how expensive it would be. Thankfully Saga knows better than to try to please assholes like yourself though and just does what works, makes a quality product and keeps the doors open. I know, what fucking assholes they are lol...

The QC (quality control) in China is held at a way less standard than the US. Have you not heard about lead paint in baby toys coming from china?

And Saga I'm still waiting for your reply to my question. Transparency REMEMBER! What is the wage you pay your slaves in China?

Transparency? How about the fact that they don't know how much the workers are getting paid. I would bet that Saga has no idea how much they are paying them. The factory they are using has probably been around making all sorts of clothing for several years, and Saga is just a portion of their work. Giant companies will have their own factories, but most companies producing in China hire out the work to a company that takes care of it all for them. Some companies have better quality control than others, and it is really up to the US company to determine what manufacturers work best for them. From what I have seen Saga's quality is pretty awesome, and if they do have issues, I have seen firsthand that they back it up 100%. TannerBalls, you don't know what the hell you are talking about.

As we are not the managers of the factory the employees wages is not information that is shared with us. But if you want to keep this going and dive into a full fledged investigation into our workings you are more than welcome to contact us privately.
