It probably won't be open until the Xmas season. They're hoping to get the Flyer open this weekend. That's all you really want. The Tram is slow and the front faces it provides access to will be sketchy this weekend.
You might be in luck. The following was in the Jay snow report this morning:
Snowmaking has resumed on the Goat Run in order to get the Flyer open by Thursday. Look for either the Bonnie or Tram to follow along for this upcoming weekend-there's an outside chance for both but please don't hold us to that, start booking rooms as a result of that, or pin your hopes on the wild joy that all three could bring as we're not 100% yet. If that's not enough of a hold your horses disclaimer, we're not sure what else might work..
The woods have a really nice, solid base. A one foot dump and you'll be able to cruise the woods without worry. The more popular out of bounds areas, like the dip, still need a couple feet before the brush is covered.
just got back from there beautiful conditions hard pack but now there is 4-7 inch of new snow the wind was pretty bad the tram was closed for mon and the flyer was pretty bad but the glades were perfect
