Unless its a mid season release you will see things starting to ship late August. Each shop dictates when they want the goods shipped so truly its up to them. Most manufacturers begin getting product from their suppliers in late summer.

Huh, usually it seems that gear hits the shops in NZ before the US, but I could have a pair of next years Bent Chetlers in my hands in 20 minutes.

I believe the Bent Chetlers were an early release this year so that's why we're seeing them already.

Yer I'm pretty sure that's accurate. I wasn't bragging or anything, just stating what my plans are ! Mostly that gear over her is turning up in the next month or so

Yer fair enough! down here at the bottom of the world things tend to arrive a lot slower ha. Though ski gear is one of the few advantages (most brands anyway)

It really depends when shops want to stop making money on this seasons gear. Most big manufacturers will have the product ready to go by the end of January. But shops are still in the middle of selling the gear they got for the season. So although they could get the stuff early it makes no sense for them to do it. Normally by about June you will see shops begining to have the new stock as by then people are thinking about the coming season and are willing to pay full porice for gear again.

That's because Rhythem is the importer of many of the big brands, DPS and armada and probably some other brands, but then again it's about a grand for a ski.
