When does it snow.... western washington area?!?!

Its hard to check these forums and see all of the threads talking about how people are getting snow already! i guess I just forgot when it will start snowing at the mountains up here in the seattle area? Like at crystal and snoqualmie and all the other ones around. Does anyone know???

we've had snow in the past weeks but it melts off I think that's what everyone has been talking about. Usually there is decent skiing by late november/early december

Yep. It snowed, but right now daytime freezing levels are like 15000+ft, so everything is gone or will be soon.

As for when it snows.... uh... who knows. Past couple of years its been like a tease in November, then a massive dump in mid-late december. Washington was super dry until mid-december last year. It snowed, but not much, until it got cold. And in 04-05... well, late march/april was the only decent time of year, so snow is never a certainty, even if there is a big early season dump, which was the case in 2004.

Still at least 2 months unless something freaky happens...

its usually firing in the NW by thanksgiving, although could start dumping a couple weeks earlier/later. Early season really is a roll of the dice.

much to do about nothing, in all honesty. People are just excited and stoked and extremely hopeful.The earliest snow I can remember was when cyrtsal opened nov. 11th a few years back.We'll be lucky if we're skiing before thanksgiving. I sooo wish it were otherwsie.
