When does it cross the line?

Im was just thinking lately and I mean with the Sport Proggressing so much with doubles and what not, when does Freestyle skiing cross the line and become just Arielist Manuvers? Im not hating on the new tricks at all im just curious everyones opinion on this. Lets hear what everyone has to say.

Ya know i have been wondering the same thing. But, i have come to hope and to realise that skiing will diversify out like snowboarding and skating has.

Ya know i got worried for a bit too, but at the same time alot of the kids throwing doubles these days were brought up with a deep appreciation for style. Like henrik's double flatspin, its a double but its sooo sick and twalls doubles in TURBO they oooze with style.
I think the difference might be that the skiing community will bash down doubles that arn't perfected with style. Aerialist style tricks will never be accepted.

park skiing will never become anything like arealist skiing in my opinion. for a few reasons; the double flips or double corks been done be many pros these days are nothing like the shit arealists do where they go fully inverted on every hit and start their spin well after taking off i.e in a double cork the rider is never completely upside down. the jumps are in no way simular to arealist jumps wich means the tricks are done differently, and most riders grab or make an attempt to grab on all tricks which is not done in arealist skiing. plus rails and the tricks done on smaller jumps (jumps people can double flip or double cork on) set us apart.

Skiing is already way more diverse than snowboarding or skating. Freestyle is not the only kind of skiing out there man, we're only a piece of the community.
