started at the reckless age of 3 and i never raced. snowboarded a little but then i said nuts to this and now i ski

December 28, 2003. I skiboarded for two seasons and ordered 4FRNTs and realized I really did not need them. I sent them back and ordered Public Enemies and Getboards.com sent me the 04/05 model. So Im set for a while...

week each year since i was 4, racing on plastic in the UK until i was 16, then 3 seasons during which I started boarding, then switched to skiing again this year after 11 years boarding, and ski as much as poss, but still get my board out on powder days.

 
im a newbie, i've only been skiing for like 2 years. i didn't start young because my parents never really wanted me to do it. i snowboarded for like 2 years then started skiing 2 years ago, i get on the board when i can just for fun

 
Since age 6. I wouldn't even touch jumps for years, though.

prob around 1983 .... never been on a board or blades, never had the desire to learn either cause i love to ski

 
When I was 3 I got cross country skis for christmas. I've still never been on alpine skis but I think I'll try them out next season.

started skiing when i was 3, but only skied a few times a year.. skibladed for like a season when i was umm maybe 10 or 11.. than went to snowboarding for 2 seasons.. and than finally got back onto skis

since i w as 3, tried snowboarding once, hated it, did snowblading once or twice, hated it, been on twin tips for the past 3 years, i've been skiing 11 or 12 years now and still love every damn second of it

ive been skiing since i was 3 then changed to snowboardingwhen i was about 10, which might have been a mistake, i was a pwnz0r , but im getting back into skiing a little bit. im most likly going to do both
 
I started at age 2 and quickly became obsessed. I tried boarding a few times but for me skiing is where it's at.
 
my dad pushed me down a mountain when i could walk...lied about my age to get me into ski school...dont remember exactly how old, but i remember my first fall and it sucked

switched to snowboarding for half a season when i was 12 or 13, bailed on that shit after i decided i didnt give a shit if it was "cool" or not, i just wanted to go fast and get better at something i was already pretty good at

got on twins like 3 years ago, never looked back

I was 3 when I started. I tried snowboarding once but didnt really like it and I just started newschool skiing last winter.
 
I started when I was 5, and iv been snowboarding a couple times but only with friends that wanted to try it and didint want me bitching at them because they where to slow when im on ski's.

 
i started at 2, i pretty much grew up on a ski hill though, in fact i had my baby shower in the bar of our hill, and my mom wonders why im sooo obsessed with skiing

Started cross-country skiing when I was 2. did that every year until I started downhill skiing when I was in 4th grade, which would've made me 10 if my math is correct.

12 years later, and I'm still addicted.

Got my first twin-tips in '99 I think.
 
wow im late on getting twins eh? i got my first pair which were fujis about 3 years ago. i guess you could say im a late bloomer tehehe
 
Actually, upon further review, I got my first twins in '00.

Line 1260s. The orange symmetrical ones. 164cm. Those were some fun skis for sure.
 
when i started skiing at the age of like 3 i didnt like it, but then when i was 5 i got into it, then i raced and didnt really like it, i liked the group of kids i was with, we would go into the park after races with our speed suits, yea mang. then we all quit and started freeballin it.
