When did you join NS??

January 2005 but I had an account before that (maybe 03ish) and I forgot what it was. I have not changed my username or avitar since I made them.

13 years is coming up in a month

August 2003. I’d say this site isn’t crazy different. But was MUCH more active back then. The regionals were all very active. And ski Gabber was always filled with people. TW, Vanular, and Henrik and others were just kids who would post back then haha. Most of the pros would show up and post from time to time.
 
December 2011, and like everyone, I lurked a for a few months before I joined. Looking for opinions on skis and once the season started and I met some ns guys I made an account.
 
Lurked for six months then joined August 2012. I was way too much of a little shithead to enjoy the forums while they were still popping.

Basically there is a guy who has had a shitload of aliases and constantly plauges the forums with extremely shitty trolling, shit post and braincell loosing opinions. He's been banned multiple times but he keeps coming back and it's impossible to get rid of him. His most memorable alias was double cup which is why every1 calls this new alias that. But he's had numerous ones before it like thackle or whatever the fuck. Either way he's been around forever, way before me... There you go now you know.
 
I joined in late 2009 after about a year of watching videos and lurking/reading up on video equipment.

OP was one of the first NSers I met. In 09/10 standing in line for the summit quad at Okemo you called me and my buddies out. That was pretty cool, probably the first time I realized there was a real physical community behind the site.

Same. This account is June 2004. However I rememeber I had an account for like 2 years where I lost the password and couldnt reset for some reason (dial-up internet was a bitch) and then created this one that ive had ever since.

Been lurking since 2009 and posting since 2011 and still haven't actually met any of you people so I'm convinced none of you actually exist

Meeting an NSer is like going on your first tinder date. Yeah, it's kinda exciting in a weird way, but ultimately its just awkward and uncomfortable for everyone involved. And like a first tinder date, an encounter with another NSer inevitably ends with both parties realizing this was a mistake and going home alone to touch themselves while no one gets laid.

back in the day we fucked each other quite a lot, and got really big groups going. Sounds like you kids dont know what you're doing get off my lawn.

But actually, I remember NS being much more active in the summer when everyone was restless from a lack of skiing. So this makes sense.
