just wondering when all you guys chose between chicks or dudes. The day you sat down and were like i think i'm going with the straight thing or the gay thing, whatever you chose.

how did you make the choice? was it hard?
 
but how did you make the choice, like was it difficult? could you describe the processes you went through.

like when i get up in the morning and i gotta figure out am i going to wear pants or am i going to wear shorts i gotta figure out if its gonna be cold out side, and what clean shirts i have that would match my pants or shorts, were there options or anything you weighed out between lauren and jack?
 
i'm still failing to see the decision processes you went through. everyone is making it sound like it's something inate, which is duh obviously false....

 
thats not a choice tho, thats just innate, it's like thinking about eating dog poop, most people would probably puke, you don't chose to not eat dog poop
 
ok i looked at jack and i imagined my butthole being sore and crusty, i looked at lauren and i imagined hers being sore and crusty. it was a simple decision
 
and this was your actual decision process at age 5?

atraction is more than just crusty buttholes

and crusty buttholes don't explain much of why you'd be attracted to one girl over another, which means they can't really be reliable on making the decision between straight and gay
 
still not a choice--- you can't chose for your dick to get hard-- you could visit the hot girl thread and your dick could get hard, but you can't just comand a stiff whenever you want, because you can't command a stiff to go away when ever you want
 
I'm failing to see the point if you're trying to make one. When did you chose to like skiing? How do you fall in love? Why do pomegranates taste so damn good? There are some things in our bodies that are hardwired and take a lot to change, and in some instances, cannot be changed.
 
i'm looking for you to describe the choice you made... how you decided you were going to be a mac daddy of the women even as a 5 year old.... why would you go after the girls?

it's all about the choice--- feelings arn't choices, no one choses their state of emotion, otherwise everyone would be happy, always, because if happy is the best emotion to be, why would you chose to be sad, or angry or anything but happy? you wouldent.

so no more of this what feels right bullshit, that can't be your answer to the choice you made.
 
i still don't see the choice there, point it out to me.

you start to notice the girls but why would you do that? when did you chose to start noticing them, as in one day you had to think about it...
 
that is a legit choice, however it doesnt explain for who you want to have kids with, it doesnt explain your attraction to girls, or a paticular girl.

just because you want kids doesnt mean that you're automaticaly straight, you could still have kids, even your own biological kids, and not be attracted to their mother.

there are women who carry children for couples when the woman cannot give birth.

 
i never chose to start noticing them, thats just the first time or close to the first time i remember noticing them naturally

its not like i was handed a sheet of paper and circles STRAIGHT or GAY

when everyone was like "eww, girls have cooties", i was the only boy to have the balls to hang out with the girls, but also the guys. it was natural though, cant really describe it
 
What if you could love a man and through genetic combination methods and invitro fertilization have a child together? That would still satisfy you're need for biological progeny with another person.
 
dude I think you are making a fool of yourself. People do not choose to be attracted to this sex over that sex. Do you figure that life has survived this long just because some people, some rabbits, some fish, some of any species decided that they would be attracted to the opposite sex? Survival of the fittest. It is in any animal's nature to be attracted to the opposite sex. When it comes down to it, reproduction is the meaning of life. As for human homosexuality, I think that that is quite the phenomenon but it is not the result of a concious decision. It is the result (I believe) of an individual's upbringing. Not necessarily does it reflect the sexual orientation or the beliefs of the individual's parents, but on a number of things, possible lack of a father figure that causes some boys to need a male counterpart. There are many factors. And if it is not in the upbringing then it is genetic. Either way it is not a choice to make.
 
so when you were thinking about it you were like "hmm fucking dudes in the ass could be fun, I really don't know what to pick!" but then you realized you couldn't have kids naturally if you were gay so you decided to be straight?

Ohhh, no its not. There are parthenogenic species of lizards and snakes that can reproduce completely without males. As in, in a genus of lizards, there are no males in the population. Have never been males, will never create males. Females, while not having male gonads or anything, will actually mount each other and act like males, which somehow stimulates their reproductive organs better. Basically, going lesbo is the only way for them to continue on reproducing. Apparently it comes from some weird hybridization between two other lizard species that creates this totally parthenogenic one... cool stuff.

And I would highly debate that reproduction is the sole meaning of life. I could possibly agree with that just in the animal world, but I definitely think that with humans, this is no longer the ultimate meaning of a life.
 
homosexual tendencies have been well documented in animals.

well done thread creator, on "subtly" making a point that sexual preference is inate and not a choice, anyone educated knows that, and anyone too dumb to know that will never figure it out

guys I think what he's alluding to is that sexual orientation isn't a conscious, thought out decision. Clever, clever, clever.
 
there was no decision to make. God made girls have vaginas, and guys have penises. they are MEANT to go together. its natural. look in the animal world, find 2 gay animals, then talk to me.
 
My school friends who ended up being gay tended to come out about 16 or 17. I honestly haven't had to think about it. Was looking up skirts from the age of 2.
 
So the point that he's making is "you don't choose to like girls or guys." Cool, I'm pretty sure everyone already agrees with you so this thread is worthless.
