When did it become ok for white people to wear straight brim hats

When did skiers, skaters and dare I say bladers, cross this invisible boundary? I feel this phenomenon is much akin to the popularization of black nail polish, which back in the day was reserved for the darkest of the dark goth individuals whereas now it's a mainstream thing. Weigh in community. Weigh in.

You mean flat brims? like the NY baseball caps and stuff?

They've been popular for at least 7 years.

flat brim hats have been popular for ever, i don't know where you've been

flat brim fitteds are the new rage though

You're worried about hats, and I wear a t-shirt that's three feet long. If you are gonna complain at least prioritize better... Besides fitteds are beyond played, even the NS store knows that snap-backs are what's up in the streetwear fashion industry.

My white brethren can wear whatever damn hat they wanna wear!

But seriously, people can wear whatever the fuck they wanna wear.

"When did it become ok for white people to wear straight brim hats"

this makes me want to hit you in the face

backwards obviously with the leather strap

Fitted hats aren't the hot thing, snap backs are. I shall make a similar trend statement to my crowbar one in my sig.

Snapbacks? What are we, playing little league?

I think you are refering to the new era 59-50 which has been the official hat of MLB since well before you were born. Its not a race thing.

I am getting a lot of hate here for my question, and I'm sorry if my phrasing might have sounded racist, but I was simply wondering about the dynamics of the social phenomenon that is trends I guess. Like people who jerk or whatever, they wear super skinny jeans, and I thought skinny jeans was a punk thing or rock music or something, so I'm was just wondering how seemingly different interest groups share fashion and borrow from each other. Also, please explain the really long t-shirts.

My grandfather wears a flat brimmed Brooklyn dodgers hat. He's in his 70s. He doesn't give a shit about what other people think. He was the ball boy for a full season in the 50's for the dodgers, and warmed up Jackie Robinson before every game. Now he wears that hat because he loved them.

Gave myself away as what? a non-freestyle skier? I've never skied in my life, probably never will, too scary.

I do own skis though, and I've touched them several times. Also, I'm not posting a multitude of pictures of my STEEZY GEAR all over the pictures section.

So long t-shirts = boldness in face of fear? Or like you mess up off a big jump and then spread it out like a flying squirrel to soften the landing?

Man Dylan, you would fit right in with all the frat douches at UVM. You can pick them out from a mile away.
