When can we DONATE!

alright, this is what i heard...newschoolers.com got an endorsment deal or something from studio411, so they no longer needed the donations...however, i think they are trying to get the donating option back so you can get the little icon next to your username, but you can always donate, you just wont be granted anything special...
 
but you shouldn't donate for bling, donate because you use the site so often and feel that you should give something back for all this free entertainment

I think it has something to do with 411 and newschoolers not being able to accept money from its members

thus why the word dontator can't be used any more..

So i doubt there will be any more donations accepted in the short-medium term
 
idk but i wish i would have donated a lot now. i was tricked into thinking you had to donate $50 for just some green bling back when you could still donate...that sucked if only i wasn't such a damn n00b!!!
 
i know for a fact that you got the coin for 50 bucks. I personally just wanna see the donators cult
 
This thread sucks. Do you all know why NS needed donations in the first place? NS couldn't even let its users see the videos or pictures on the site for more than a week back in the day, due to its popularity and poverty. The sites bandwidth would be exhausted within the first 2 weeks of the month (always) and so we were all forced to download vids we wanted to see and save the pictures we wanted, otherwise we'd have to wait til the next month to see. NS' donators are crucial to the sites existence as we all know it.
 
Even with donations, I still always wondered how the server costs could be met, along with the staff paying themselves..etc etc
 
that is indeed true. we are donators so we know this stuff and don't try to second guess us because your wrong. i gave $475 for my coin.
 
i know i paid a pretty penny for my $$ - there was a thread on it with how much everyone paid for their symbols - lets just say it would have kept NS running for months!
 
I really would love to through down more for something other than silver. it just is to hard to notice. Plus since I have donated the site has grew and deserves another donation. but the extra 400$ is just to much
 
Ya donating this much of cash was pretty hard. I donated $453.53, I still have the invoice from Paypal. I mean with all the entertainment and news how could I not donate to this site.
 
You can't donate to NS because it isn't an NPO. But you can become a giraffe! Just ask Doug about that and he'll help you out.
 
Its not 50 dollars for the green. You guys are dumb. At least it didn't used to be 50 dollars for green. Maybe I'm missing the joke...
